My second lamp on the same unit adds extra light to my 10 gal aquarium. I also wrapped this second light in blue tape to add a cool blue effect to the tank thus, easier on the eyes. The bulb does not get hot so no major chance of fire as well. Great system and much cheaper on Amazon than at pet stores. I recommend this system to anyone.
I had purchased and was using the LED light fixture for my 37 gallon aquarium. But because of the depth of the aquarium, the single tube that came with the original light fixture was not enough to display the tank and its inhabitants well. Therefore, I purchased this second tube. Tank is lighted very well now. What's more, the new tube just snapped right in as adevetised. Thanks.
