I love these. Worth the extra couple of bucks. very sturdy and solid. Time will tell about the interior construction.

I love these tongs, I got the 34" for my 47 column tank, and they work great. They are gentle enough for corals, and yet strong enough for large rocks. I ordered mine from amazon, and just so ya know, if you have your heart set on the yellow tongs in the pic, you may be disappointed, I received the bluish-gray ones. I love them, don't get me wrong, but if this is an issue, you may want to be aware of that.

-All I care is I don't have to get on a step ladder and be up to my armpit in saltwater anymore, so I am dry and happy with my new tongs.

I would give this a 5 but there are 2 reasons it gets a 4. The first reason is the "feel". When you apply pressure to the grip you really have to be careful as it will apply a good "clamp" on everything. If you are using it to move around rock this is great, if you want to move some coral or other things that you wouldnt want to crush you need to take into consideration how much this thing grips. The second reason is that the handle is a bit awkward. 90% of the time its not problem. You will see what I mean when you are trying to twist or change position when moving or grabbing things. Other than that It is a must have and the best tool for keeping your hands out of the tank to do routine things.

This grip handle is not as shown on item description. The actual grip is weak plastic and poorly made. While it does have a good grip I have no faith that this item will last very long. I do not recommend this Item.

When placing the order I was under the impression that we were getting a totally different set of aqua tongs(with yellow tips and hand gripper as per the picture when clicking on item). Instead it was the same ones we have already bought in the past (gray and black pair). Likely not to order from this place again.
