I use this plate to hold down some plants and it does its job. I like the ceramic material and black color. But there are four small wires at each corner to hold the grid. These small wires get rusty quite easily. If the manufacturer can solve this problem, it will be an excellent product.
I have a few of these plates in different sizes. They work well with growing moss and guppy grass. I would advise to not over stuff with a large amount of plant as it may kill some of the pieces.
