I bought this instead of the 14k that came with my halide unit and I noticed much healthier coral and growth,

Bought 3 of these bulbs for my 220 gallon tank , and I've only had them running a couple days but as soon as they heated up the color was perfect .... I put 4 stars because its just an exspensive prdouct

I have been using Halides for about 3 years now and have not seen a bulb with the blue light this one seems too put out. My corals love it and open every morning when i fire them up. I did have one go out only after 3 months though and had to get another or i would have given it 5 stars.
