I have used similar fertilizer systems to this one, and they are very convenient.

What I like most about the fertilizer sticks is that they can be moved around your tank, in the event that certain plants are not growing as well as others.

I also use plant fertilizer tablets which work well, however, if you stir up the substrate in your tank, a partially dissolved tablet will circulate all over your aquarium leading to an algae bloom.

I also like the fact that with plant fertilizer sticks, you only need to replace them once a year, as opposed to the fertilizer tablets which must be replaced every few

months.

The price for a 6 pack of these fertilizer sticks is also quite reasonable less than $2 per stick given that each lasts a year.

Highly recommended.
