
Pour 5 ml of water sample into the marked test-tube, add five drops of chemical, cap and mix, then compare it to the color chart.
The card has scales/colors of 5.0(orange/red), 6.0, 6.5, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 9.0(blue) easy to tell the pH difference unless you are colorblind.
I have added the acetic acid and sodium bicarbonate to water samples and observed the color changes, so I know this thing work. Also, I have tested it with water samples with known pH, the accuracy is pretty good.
The only downside is it doesn't come with an expiration date.
For an amateur aquarist like me, this is the startup kit.
