This has been pumping strong for quite some time now. I've got it in my wet/dry filter as a return pump submerged. It's nice to be able to adjust the flow when needed. It's very quiet and if you have the water appropriately filtered prior to the return chamber, it requires minimal mainteance. My Rio 800 venturi in the protein skimmer makes more noise than this. I have a piece of filter floss under it to help with vibration/noise.
