I bought it to use as a circulating pump on my 5 gallon aquarium. The range of flow speeds is wide enough for me, I am using near the minimum flow speed. It has been working non-stop for a month without any issues.The only minor issue is that the power cable is too thick for the size of the pump. The force exerted by the cable tends to move the pump and makes it a little hard to find a suitable position and cable arrangement. It seems the manufacturer just used whatever they had in stock. A thinner electrical cable would do the job for such a small device and would make it easier to install the pump.
