Fluval Magnetic Impeller w/straight fan blades, 404, 405 - 110V

Three years with my Fluval 405 so I guess it's about time. It started rattling like crazy. Than flow slowed down. Then no flow at all. Found where the rattling was from, and ordered this part. I took this opportunity to inspect and replace a few parts which have deteriorated. Only after the new parts came did I notice how much the old parts deteriorated. Replacing it was an immediate fix. Flow is back. Power is back. Noise is gone.

Did not expect to have to replace this part but so glad I found replacement parts (for cheap) on Amazon instead of having to buy a whole replacement filter. I actually ordered a whole other set of these replacement parts for the next time I may need it.

Just as perfect as the original impeller. No regrets buying it and water flow is restored to original pump standard.

I keep extra parts for my filter on hand. When cleaning the filter the last thing you need is something to break. I've found that the place I bought my filter from does not carry any parts besides the filters.

I cant go without having extra parts on hand. To much $$$ invested in my fish tank setup to worry about broken parts. When a part breaks I order a replacement part ASAP.

I was going to replace the entire Fluval system when it stopped working. Someone said it was probably the impeller. I ordered it, and I have a brand new filter system!!!!
