I am very satisfied with this product. It is lighter weight than gravel and plant substrates like flourite. Also, it is a softer material as it can be crushed with moderate pressure in your hand. However, plants grow healthy with strong beautiful white roots. I've used at least 4 of the leading substrates in the planted tank hobby and this was the best one so far. One thing I learned was do not rinse and fill your tank slowly.Save 83% Off
