Mag Float 360A Magnetic Cleaner for Acrylic - Large - up to 350 Gallon

I gave this as a Christmas present and it was the best present. I got it two days before I was expecting it. It says on the package that it is for acrylic but it is used on a glass tank.

Regardless of what the manufacturer says, this will scratch your acrylic aquarium. I followed the directions and fortunately started near the back of my display tank. The scratches were immediate and ugly!

I deeply regret not having heeded the advice of others.

Works exactly as advertised. I have a 225 gallon acrylic tank with 1/2" thick acrylic. Does a very good job cleaning, with no visible scratching that I could see. I was even able to clean right along the sand line at the bottom of the tank, it moved some sand, but none got trapped between the acrylic and the cleaner. Very happy would recommend for anyone.

I do wish that this item was stronger, or that there was a stronger model availible on amazon. I have a 220 gallon tank with 3/4 inch plate glass. This does do wonders however, I just wish the magnetism was stronger, as it pops free of the glass while scrubbing.
