I started out with the original formula, but bought this grain free formula to try. My dog loved both varieties.I also buy him the canned Health extension variety pack wet food which I mix with this. I feel good about feeding this brand to my new dog, as it was recommeded by my breeder. The kibble provides all the nutrients dogs need to stay healthy.

I have been very impressed with this product; I have tried everything! I'm looking for great digestion, great taste, quality, low cooking temperature (when they make the food; which is important), quality of ingredients beyond the label and a great kibble size. This food has it all. I really love the kibble size, which is larger, and it has strong taste. Since my dogs are so spoiled and I rotate alot of foods, this food ends up being their 'snack', as they love the taste so much and it is good for their teeth, as the kibble size is larger. I also use Fromm and Horizon dog food (grain free AND potato free) in my rotation, which give them great digestion as well. If your dog has allergies, this food might work, but Horizon Pulsar may work better, however, in comparison, this food has a stronger taste and your dog may like it more. My dog used to suffer from all kinds of itching allergies...we decided that grain was the culprit, and switched from Blue Buffalo to this brand.
