We have two cats and each one loves to play with these toys in a different way. Our tortie goes crazy batting these babies around the house. She even carries them around in her mouth from room to room. Our white kitten picks these up with her teeth, jumps in the air, does a little twist, and releases, essentially tossing the toy so that she can chase it. All cats will love these! The crinkle is very soft, so you don't have to worry about noise if that bothers you.

Both our wild guy Baxter and dainty Diva Emily love their "butter" toys; so much so that I'm afraid the first set has taken quite a beating and I'm back to get more sets for a kitty holiday gift and gifts for other family member's cats. Great cat fun, just the right size and they LOVE the little dangly things *antennae* cats use them to catch and toss the toy. They have the Good House-kitty Seal of Approval! :)

These are cute, and my cats like to play with them, but there really isn't much of a crinkle sound to the butterflies. Nevertheless, they are well loved by my cats and reasonably priced so I do recommend them if you don't mind the lack of crinkle.

Sandi doesn't like catnip so this was no attraction what crinkle? He hasn't looked at it at all other than once carting it through to the bedroom and leaving it beside my slippers. With other toys that he's ignored at first he's come around after a week or so and plays with them -sometimes sneakily but not this one. Maybe got squashed in transit as package to Australia was squashed. Wouldn't recommend it for fussy animal unless it adored catnip.
