While it's not as accurate as a more "hobbyist" kit, it is a great kit to start to familiarize yourself with testing, and accurate enough for livestock safety. The instructions are rather straight forward, and the color charts more or less match the actual colors produced by the reagents. When checking colors, it is a bit easier to hold the bottom against something white and look down the tube for comparison, rather than the side, as the glass tubes change the color a bit (quite common with all testing kits).
