Since I purchased these sponge filters for my tanks, my aquatic pets are much healthier. the tanks stay cleaner and they are so easy to clean plus very economical to use. This seat fit our truck just like it should. I feel comfortable with the dog sitting there in his seat. He loves it too. It appears to be well made and had all the things that you need. The bird bath is robust and fine but we were led to believe that it would fit any cage and it wont fit either of our Cockatiel cages so we are disappointed as it has to sit on the floor of the cage and not in the door hole. Our cockatiel wont use it properly because of that so not as good as we thought it would be.
To get enough lighting to match my compacts, I needed 2 of the true lumen led's. I bought the blue/white mix and the 12k white. They do a great job on my 75 gallon tank. I have fish and coral. The hammerhead coral has taken off since installing them. The mushroom coral has retracted some (which I wanted). Tough to say how all of the different corals will react, but for me it was a good match. The size is unbelievable. Going from a large compact fluorescent to two thin strips an inch and a half wide is a great bonus. No more CF bulb replacement either.
I bought the Pro 3 2075 brand new in Sept 2012 that came with a 3 year warranty. The filter leaked after 2 years destroying my $350 wooden stand. Water leaked out near the power cord. After searching the net I found out that this was a common issue among Pro 3 filters made before Aug 2010. I love this filter. It provides a massive area (as canister filters go) for growing nitrifying bacteria. However, it is insanely expensive and comes without media, which can add another $120 to the overall cost. Due to its size and weight, servicing can be difficult. I'd recommend using it solely as a biofilter, and adding a couple of Magnum 350's for your chemical and mechanical filtration needs. But it is unbelievably quiet and I like the spraybar that's included. My only complaint is the ridiculous instruction manual. Even with 20+ years of using canister filters, it took me two days to get the filter running properly, and that was after contacting Eheim customer support. If the intake tubes (yes, there are 2 of them) are not installed properly, and the manual doesn't mention this, the filter will suck air and eventually stop pumping. I know this sounds like a no-brainer, but you have to experience this to know what I'm talking about. So far so good. I've had this filter for a month now and it works great! I just changed the filter pads out yesterday, and the media is still going strong. I use the Eheim 2080 for a 100gal turtle tank, one turtle. The filter is well made. Clearly the designers thought about how the filter will actually be used. The filter pads are located at the top of the canister and the filter comes with a tray to make it easy to take the blue pad out and wash it in the sink. I suspect that a full filter cleaning will be a bit more cumbersome since the canister is large and heavy when filled. But the little wheels at the bottom are surprisingly helpful. And it appears the parts that will need to be washed are easy to remove, unlike my previous filter. If you have a turtle(s), I would highly recommend buying this filter. The up front costs are high, but well worth it given the time you save not having to do a full filter cleaning every 3 weeks. I've been running this on my 90 gallon aquarium for close to 2 months now. I have no ammonia problems and crystal clear water. This filter will handle an enormous bio load. I don't have an overstocked tank. In fact, I only have 3 angelfish, 2 albino bristlenose plecos, and plenty of plants in my 90g tank. The community will grow. But, judging by the amount of bio media this thing can hold, I don't intend on seeing any ammonia spikes when I add stock. I ran a fishless cycle on my tank, so the filter should be overloaded with beneficial bacteria.
This is a supremely functional lamp that our turtle loves. Excellent price also and is was well protected when it shipped.

I have been a tropical fish hobbyist since the early 1980's. I keep strictly fresh water tanks and now I currently have a 265 gallon setup with african cichlids. Not having live plants and not needing any special lighting requirements for coral, etc.., I just wanted an led fixture to brighten up the tank. I already had two six foot flourescent fixtures with four bulbs in each fixture. I was able to see all the fish but the color of the fish especially the irredescence did not show up like I knew it could. So, rather than spend a ton of money, I thought I would try one of these fixtures and if it worked, then I could buy more. When I put this on top of the glass strip which runs along the top of the tank, I could not believe how much brighter the fish looked and how much nicer everything looked with this little 36 inch fixture. I am going to immediately order another to put alongside the one I have. this way i will cover six feet of the seven which is the width of the tank. The 265 gallon tank is over two feet deep so I need something to reach the bottom. It does this pretty well also. Even my wife who really does not bother with the fish said "WOW" I got a real nice piece of lighting equipment and am really happy with it. It has plastic brackets on the side which slide out but i have no use for them. It is ultra slim and low profile which is real nice. I have a canopy on my tank which covers the entire top including all the lighting fixtures and makes it look more like a piece of furniture. I would highly recomend this light to anyone thinking about getting one.
It does do what i need. Unfortunately it requires quite a bit of pressure to be pushed through. Other than that, i made my own c02 set up with this and it does work fine.

This is a very good filter, but it has a short life, at least for me. My second Mini Might Filter just crapped out on me. Don't know if it's something I'm doing, or it's just a bad product, because it is a good filter. I've had this one for a bit more than a month, and it's having the same problem as my last filter. I've had this for a long time. It filters very well for a little one, and is so tiny, it hardly takes up any space. The odd sucking noise is not the filters fault, it happens with any filter that is exposed above air. Marineland has come out with this ultra cool powerhead/circulation pump combo. I love powerheads in my tanks because of their efficency in moving water and filtration for a reverse or forward flow undergravel filter/or sponge powerhead combo. It has proven to be ideal in my clown loach tank where I am just using multiple penguin powerheads/sponge combo and have had them alive and thriving for nearly 10 years. When I saw the new Maxijet PRO I just had to give it a try. My clowns love playing in quick water as in nature they are from areas with high water movment-so I decided to buy this for the circulation mode. Other strong circulation filters are three times the price of these and are weaker or equal to the power. I have read many reviews saying they were very loud but I find mine to be very silent considering the power, only a very slight hum can be heard when I am within 3-4 feet. I found that at first when I started it it was really loud, but after a couple of minutes it became almost silent (I think the air had to be purged and propeller locked in, try shaking them a little and putting your hand over the back part where the water gets sucked in to quiet them down when you first get them up and running). Now when I turn them off and on during water changes the initial loud noise is gone and they start up perfectly. If I had saltwater tanks and were using them with a wave maker I probably would worry and instead spend a little more and buy the old maxijets with the aftermarket conversion kits or Hydors. But for my clown loach tank they are perfect, so perfect that I have decided to buy another one! Now, after reading the reveiws I am still worried about the reliability, but after finding out that the loudness is false I feel more secure with these. With a two year warranty like the penguin products I highly doubt they would make the new Maxijet Pro's as bad as some of the reviews have said. If anything, I can still use them as powerheads if the circulation mode fails. I have faith in marineland quality. I would recomend this to people with large tanks or people who keep fishes that love fast moving water! Oh.. and to add I think the black suction cups are great, much better than the crappy clear ones that come with the penguin models which seem to harden and become useless in half a year. I change out the clear ones and use the black suction cups and dont have problems with my powerhead falling anymore. With three of them I feel pretty safe. Maybe saltwater is different and much harder on the suction cups, makes sense since salt water tends to quickly dry out, crack, and corode rubber products...

I just purchased a Maxi-Jet 1200 to replace a unit that finally died. I figured I might as welll replace it with the same model as I had not had any problems with the original one. Well I received it today and was excited to install it. Got it all set up and plugged in and sat down on the couch to marvel at the tank. Within 10 minutes the pump stop working.When I went to open the unit I found a propellerless purple impeller (the old one was white). The pump moves plenty of water in my 120, but it only ran four days, before it self-destructed. The impeller flew apart and rendered the pump useless. Like I saw in another review mine was the purple impeller. When assembled as a wave maker the pump did move a lot of water, in fact to much water in my 120. Not necessarily a bad thing but worth noting.
The amount of testing you have to do week after week is very tedious with this product. I have not seen any difference in the colors of my corals after a month of using it. The tests really kill me though, especially the potassium one becuause it takes sooo long and it's so difficult to read the colors. Overall, I'd say just keep up with the water changes, use premium salt and a good part A & B and you'll be good.
I would designate these a child's toy for pretend play without water. As an ornament for an outdoor pond, these are pretty useless. Compared to real goldfish, they are about 50% the size. In the product information, it says "Attached weights position fish in any depth aquarium." This is the main reason I purchased these fish. There is no such thing in the fish I received. They float on the surface with the dorsal fin above water, like a shark, or after a short time sink to the bottom. They are cute, and nicely made. Shipping was quick, and from Hong Kong, about the only place in the world that has these.
I have found this food to be good for not only guppies, but any small fish that may want a meal. My communial tank holds guppies, neon tetras and mollies and they all get excited when they see me reach for this food. And I have noticed that their colors are becoming brighter. I did not want to feed them someting that would be bad for them just to bring out color, but this food uses fresh vegies to do the job.
