I hate medicating a Fish tank but sometimes you have to. I had a Flower Horn Cichlid develop an eye infection that turned into Pop eye. This helped get him better and today he is fine. I also have more left over for another time. For eye problems..I say try this first, It helped my fish. No medications are miraculous but I did like this. It has a strong medicine odor but it helped the fish and that's what mattered. You DO have to remove the carbon. Remember, carbon acts like a sponge and would just absorb all the meds if you didn't remove it. Hope I was able to save a fish! Good luck.
