They are SOLID form, not 2 pieces with a cube sponge in middle *I knew that but just

fyi for future buyers* Including shipping these are 4.3 cents each else where is normally

6-7cents and if its 4 cent a ball its not including it high shipping. So penny for penny

218 Were fully intact balls

4 Were 90% intact balls

14 Were 2/3 ball missing

Good product, does what it is suppose to do at a great price. The box is actually bigger than it looks, 1 gallon is a lot of bioballs, I had extra to throw in another sump filter I made out of a 10 gallon tank.

I ordered this Mini Bio Balls because I wanted to put more bio filtration in two fish tanks. Its hard to tell at first that they was working but after I made 1 of my tanks just biological filtration I would tell it was working just fine. If you are looking to add more bio to your tanks the balls provide a lot of surface area for the size of the ball

The box says 225 but there were only 196. I bought this because of the other reviewers on Amazon.com. His extra bio balls must have been from my box because mine was short. These bio balls are tiny. I don't this this it worth $15 (which is what I paid). I put them in a gallon container and had plenty of space left over.

I actually counted out 225 pieces just for fun. Yes, they were all there and intact. I use this product on my AC50, Sunsun HW-302, and I still have plenty leftover. Excellent product and fast shipping!
