Either I got a lemon or something is funky because the LED lost it's area illumination effect in a matter of weeks. Besides that it is fine.

This is a nice upgrade from the OEM light hood that comes with your tank. Built well and there is a glass panel that keeps the light dry. It looks really nice for the price.

This has been lighting my 15 gallon for a couple of years. Plants are thriving in this heavily planted aquarium. I have no complaints other than having to mailorder the bulbs as well. That has worked out well too so not an issue.
