My small slider loves this dock. The magnets are strong enough on my 10 gallon tank and even worked on a bowed plastic tank with a two inch gap of air between the plastic and the dock. I love being able to adjust the position of the dock without putting my hands in the tank by simply sliding the magnets around the glass. I plan on purchasing this dock again, perhaps in a larger size as my turtle grows.

My turtle and fish love this thing. The fish chill underneath in the dark, the turtle has no trouble getting on it, which is incredible considering the fact that my turtle is a little slow in the physical ability department, ie., she's a klutz. It stays in place through my extra thick plexiglass tank. We all dig this basking platform. Well worth the money. Thanks Amazon and Exo Terra.

was very satified when i got my large bank, it looked great and my med size red ear slider was enjoying it. but then it started to sink. the plastic cracked around the magnets, allowing water infiltration as it ages. we've only had ours for several months of joy before we are shopping again for a real solution. very disappointed

my turtle is a baby, less than 2 inches and my tank is 10 gallon. the rock is made of high quality material, it floats on top of the water and the magnets (outside of the tank) are what's keeping it in the corner and not drifting off.

again, my turtle is small so i can't say much how stable it is under some weight but no complaints so far. when he grows i will be buying the next size rock (i have the 'small' now)
