This is a great product and well designed and built. Much better than the "floating types" and shuts-off when the water reaches the right temp instead of over-heating the water as most of them do.

Works perfect. Even though it has a thermostat, I keep it on a timer and have it on for 4 hours and then off for 4 hrs and so on. It saves on the energy bill and keeps the fish cozy
