I bought this product to replace a competitive phos reducer. I really like the form of this material. It does not appear to be as frigile and I can see it be agitated more by the water flow through the reactor. Competitive products caution against too much water flow in the reactor. Algea is subsiding in the aquarium indicating the phosphates are being removed.I will definitely purchase this again. Great price, great product.
