This product should last a very long time. It only takes about a 1/4 teaspoon to change ph of water in a 50 gallon tank. I had canister of this that has lasted several years. They have since changed the color, it use to be pink and is now white. I recommend adding this to water in a bucket before putting into tank for better control of ph. The jar says to add to aquarium but this stuff is really powerful.

Can't find a single complaint on this product. Works as advertised. I have an established 8 gallon tank setup. Was able to slowly adjust the pH and hardness to keep my plants, fish, and freshwater shrimp happy during the adjustment period. Just follow directions for amounts and cut back the amounts if you already have tank residents.
