Not bad it last a good amount of time but once it's time to give it a clean.. Well it's not something i look forward on doing. But it works and keeps the water clean.. I'm happy amazon has it for that price. It's worth it to buy if you do have that filter..

I was reusing the old filter and washing it over and over again this replacement has been EXCELLENT! well worth the money and has cleaned the tank up again.

I bought and received the outside filter for my daughter's 34 yr old turtle, for the 150 gallon tank..Sad to say, it cannot keep up with keeping the water clear. She still has to change the water and clean the filter once a week. Her tank is only 80 gallons too. That's why we purchased the large filter to save the horendous work of cleaning by hand, buckets, etc.
