I have had a 15 X 20 foot koi pond for about seven years and have struggled the first four years to make the water clear so that I could actually see the Koi through the murky water. I can not believe what a difference liquid barley extract makes. I sure wish I had found this product sooner. My water is now crystal clear and stays that way with just a little added now and then. When I find something that works, I stick with it. I will continue to buy this product for years to come. Don't bother trying anything else, I have, they don't work, but this does!
This product has no effect whatsoever in my small water feature. It does not seem to prevent or get rid of algae. I have tried varying the dose to no avail. It's a shame too, I really wanted to find something more organic.
