My 6 yr old pitbull mix has a wheat allergy and corn isn't easily digestible for dogs anyway, so this treat is perfect!!! She loves the taste

I have a JRT with itchy skin problems. As a physician (not a vet) it is hard for me to explain the skin problems as an IgE mediated reaction (Type I hypersensitivity)but possibly it is an otherwise immune mediated skin manifestation of a food sensitivity. I bought these as part of an approach to minimize allergens in my dogs diet. So far, I cannot say for sure if they are helping or not. He does like these treats (but he eats everything).

The dog I purchased these for, is not totally decided that he loves these but his brothers say they do. A crunchy dog treat for the dog who is allergic to corn or wheat. For a standard doxie or mini doxie, these are a decent treat. For a large dog, maybe two are needed.
