It is somewhat loud, but I hid it under something, placed it on carpet and I never hear it now. The only issue is that one of the ports broke off for no apparent reason. So now I am down to only being able to use one hose.Update: it has been about three months and the other air line port broke. What is amazing is that they snap off with absolutely no force put upon them, just the weight of the air line itself. Look elsewhere for a better quality pump.
