The toy is very sturdy and well made. Although my labs are larger dogs, they enjoy carrying the smaller version around and making it squeak.
I got this cow toy for my dogs, a Havanese & Cockapoo. They both love the toy! My cockapoo always chews through every toy she has. They claim the toy discourages chewing. I have to disagree...my dogs did chew on it immediately. The squeaker was broken within a minute. However, it took them 3 days to chew off the ear. That is longer than most their toys last! So it's not so tough they can't chew through it, but it is better than most dog toys. Also, the description says it is rated an 8 on durascale rating, and it is actually a 7.
