The great whiff of cedar hit my nose the first time I broke off a chunk of this great product! Such a great product! It far exceeded anything available locally! Great price and value! I wanted something to fill my pet beds with...and your Cedar Chips were just right! My dogs now wake from naps and they both have that wonderful cedar aroma about them! I LOVE IT! No more musty doggie smells...they both love their beds now...and sleep well thru the night! I don't have to worry sbout fleas or ticks...and the great cedar aroma follows them for most of the daywarning away any future hitch hikers! Thank you for the fast shipping! I can't reccomend this compacted Cedar block enough! It's compacted so when you break off a chunk, it expands into quite a bit of filling! I've filled 2 large pet beds and still have about 2/3 rds of the bag of compacted cedar chips to go! If anyone is wondering about whiose cedar filling to buy...Get this one, it's such a great value, and the cedar chips are VERY aromatic!! AAA+!

Added this to my Doug's beds and now they (and he) stay cedar fresh. However, I had to be careful as I was adding it. A few twigs and sticks were mixed in. Not a problem for rodents, I'd guess, but not comfy if you are using this for larger animals. Also, be advised that this is a huge amount--it's very densely packed. I wish I could reseal the bag instead of using a chip clip! It will take me a very long time to use this up!!

This product is as described. I purchased it to try to keep the fleas off my cats. The fleas in Florida are very difficult to control and this is not keeping them off my cats. It does make good bedding and I mix it in the litter too. I also used it outside around the patio. But it didn't help the flea problem.

Actually I'm sure if I used it for what it was intended for it would be great; all though a bit pricy... I made charcoal out of it for an experiment I was running. The experiment was a success!
