I use this occasionally when there more particulate matter in the tank than I want to wait to be filtered out.

The water in my fish tank was pretty cloudy. I put in 5 ml for my 20 gallon tank around noon. When I went back to look at it around 7:00 PM, the water was much cleaner. It wasn't crystal clear, but it was much better. I will give it another treatment in a few days.
