Bullet 1 High Performance Skimmer - Up to 150 gal.

Solid workhorse skimmer, easy to clean, flexible pump options, has an output on the skimmer cup for an auxiliary waste collector.

Currently coasting along on a ~100gal system (75gal DT, 30gal sump) I say "coasting" as this Bullet 1 is skimming like a fiend, producing plenty of thick nasty skimmate, & rated for 150gal.

Use a gate valve to allow fine adjustment once dialed in I've rarely had to adjust it.

Don't bother with skimmers that require you to use a specific pump far too much hassle, too limiting.

Current pump is a Mag 12, which itself is an excellent pump (immersible too).

Skimmer can be mounted outside or inside a sump in this case, internal on a short stand.

Highly recommended.

Will be buying its bigger brother the Bullet 2 (rated up to 250gal) when upgrading to a 180gal tank + 40 gal sump.
