the item works okay, so far. it is a tad bit cheap looking (yeah yeah what did i expect). The cord, holy cow! I suppose if you're going to be cheap, that is one place to do it....the cord, well lets just say it is not long enough to place the heater to the bottom of a Tall 55 Gallon tank and NOT have the cord hit the bottom on the outside of the tank cord is at best, 2 foot.
And that is why the lower rating is a bit slow, took a bit more than 24 hours to raise the Temp 7 degrees!
It is in Celsius, so if you do not know how to convert it (learn how to use Google). Honestly, for the price and I have a monitoring system on my 210G saltwater tank, it's great.

This heater should be sufficient to heat a 75 gallon aquarium with powerheads & cascade 1000 to heat the tank past 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Now I have to buy another heater. Get what you pay for.!

Not what is pictured; only worked for @ 3 weeks have asked for replacement. The temperature setting is celcius; hard to adjust and only worked for a few weeks before one of the internal pieces turned brown and it stopped working. HOWEVER, the vendor has been very responsive and nice to work with and has sent replacements. Unfortunately, they package these in envelopes and the glass tubes are crushed during shipment. Vendor is issuing a refund for one of the two heaters I purchased.
