I really like the Nexx filter systems. They are well priced easy to setup and clean and expandable. I have 5 systems and have had no issues with any. That said, you must be careful setting up the extension canister. If you do not follow the direction exactly, and they are not real clear, you can have a mess. Make sure you power off, remove both the power head and outlet from the water and have a bucket close just in case. If you do this it is clean and easy.

Very easy to maintain, does an eccellent job maintaining water quality. I have a 75 and a 46 gallon aquariums and use two filters for each.
