I was looking for toys that don't have a lot of dyes because one of their favorite toys colored their water purple when they dropped it in the water dish, and I could just imagine what it was doing to their mouth when they were chewing on it. I'm tempted to learn to sew! This toy has been ignored by all 3 of my cats. They aren't interested in it at all. I finally tied a string to it and tried swinging it and dragging it around to see if that would interest them, but no luck. I guess there's a toy for every cat, but this one didn't work for us. We were sent the dragonfly.
Buy Ethical Cat, Eco-Cat Catnip Filled Natural Insects Pack (Fly, Bee & Dragon Fly): Cat Toys Now
These looked like fine little toys, and three for the price is acceptable. However, I received only one toy. I now notice that another reviewer had the same experience, so it appears that the item description is intentionally deceptive. I'd strongly advise against purchasing this item unless you think the cost is acceptable for one little felt-and-catnip toy. This toy was purchased for a cat that loves to throw things up in the air and particularly loves to watch bugs. The minute it arrived, he was smitten. Cats don't see color, so the shape of something is very important. These really got his attention.I purchased one of these in a pet store. I later purchased them here because the cats were crazy about their bee! She tore it apart... luckily, they are all natural (made of straw/wool) so it's safe for them to chew. They are about 3" wide. The wings make it easy for the cat to carry around, and light but just enough weight to bat and throw around. Not very durable, but our cats' enjoyment is worth the 4 bucks to replace them.
