Aquarium Pharmaceuticals PondCare Pond-Zyme with Barley

I have built several ponds. This powder is the best for starting each season and ending the season. Its NOT an algeacide as someone posted, its purely for sludge reduction and pond health which it excels. This and some low use of some algeacide is all you need to keep any pond under 1000 gallons working perfect each season with minimal work

I believe "nightowl" is trying to use this product as a cleaner to remove or stop the growth of algae from a fountain and misleading other customers about its effectiveness. If used to keep pond sludge under control and keep your pond water clear and balanced this product works great. If you are looking for an algaecide for your "fountain" try to use a product called algaecide ......LOL

Did not work at all for me, so much algae grew I had to drain the fountain and use a pressure washer to blast all the algae off. Sludge was terrible. It looked like I had used nothing. Cleaned the fountain and tried again with the same results. Now I know why they were selling it on the clearance table at the nursery.
