Trouble I've found with most hideouts is that they are typically way too small for most aquatic turtles. The thing I really liked about this one when ordering was the height. There seemed to be plenty of room for a turtle to hang out in the cave. The problem I found when I received it was that the opening was much too narrow for most aquatic turtles to use. I ended up using some tools (hammer & saw) to enlarge the opening. Once I did that, my turtle ended up loving the new addition to the habitat.Save 17% Off
