It does a very good job of filtering my tank. I have a frog with a half and half tank setup. The suction is fine for the frog, but when I put a fish in there, it was over taken by the strength of the suction and the power of the water being filtered out. Not too bad overall.

I have a 10-gal tank filled with 4-5 gal. of water for my small turtle. This little filter works great. I was actually amazed that something so inexpensive & small could work so well :)

great little filter it has very powerful current but the filter job isnt amazing thats why i give it four stars
