I got this for my 5G nano reef. I have the 48" version over my 75, and have no problem keeping softies and LPS alive and well. I wish it had separate switches/plugs for the actinic/daylight strips like the fugeray (which has 2 switches but not 2 plugs, and is also awesome for the price). This is my only real complaint. Everything else is better than what I would expect for the money I paid, and the money that I save in power consumption. There is nothing complex about it. It is like the point and shoot camera of aquarium lighting. You can't change settings, its not the most powerful thing on the market, but its cheap and effective.
PROS: slim, bright, inexpensive to buy and use, never gets very hot, shimmers like MH
CONS: only one power cord and switch, The temperature is like a heated blanket so my cat loves to lounge on it.

I've got this for my sump setup because I got a condy anemone. Within a month or two with proper feeding it has regained a nice brownish color from a meek off white... and is very active. At first I wasn't for sure how much it would help but I'm running this with a ecobright 5700k compact flourecent bulb to help the algae grow nicely. People are amazed at how nice my sump looks. I would definately purchase their brand for other tanks when needed.
