These prefilters are hard to find in store (the 2 major pet retailers). They cant be found in store or on their web site. These filters are big, large surfice area. They work wonderfully traping debri and add to the biological filtration in the tank. Fast shipping and very affordable.

In my planted aquarium, I had to clean my Marineland Maxi-Jet 400 constantly, as plant material would often cause blockage. After installing the prefilter sponge no plant matter or fish waste has entered the powerhead, and water flow has not been impeded.
