Started dosing vodka 2 months ago. I have been slowly working my way up to eliminate nitrates. I have been following the commonly used online guides. After a month and a half my nitrates had still not moved from 25ppm. I have now been dosing MB7 on top of the vodka for a little over a week and still my nitrates remain at 25ppm.Algae on the rock works is gone, film algae has been retarded by 75% on the glass (speed at which it grows), coraline algae is receding (boo), water is amazingly clear but all that had happened with just dosing vodka. I can't see how the MB7 can hurt but I have yet to see any benefits. Nitrates holding at 25ppm (API test, and 2 salifert test kits)
