I have 2 Fluval c4 filters on my 55 gallon aquarium that is home to 4 large fancy goldfish. before I found the fluval filters and the zeo carb pack for them my tank had been getting a very hazy look to it. these really did the job ....water is crystal clear now and the ammonia and nitrate levels are in a healthy range again.

Using this seems to have helped stabilize and maintain the water chemistry. Can give a quick rinse to remove excess gunk and reuse pretty easily. Really like the C4s ability to change one filter type at a time to always have old culture happening. Makes it easy to keep levels consistent.

These filters could have a bit more carbon in them but they work well.I like the fluval filter it has a lot of filter medium. That being said, you have to replace a lot of filter medium when you change your filter contents.It gets pricey,
