This stuff is ground into a finer powder than Coral Frenzy. This is neither a plus nor a minus -it's up to you to feed your coral species an appropriate food particle size.When I feed my tank with this, my palythoa close up on it and brittlestars and things start waving their legs around to capture it -so I can only assume they like it. I've had this food for several months, unrefrigerated, and it doesn't stink so it seems to be shelf-stable. Don't get me wrong, you can definitely smell it even when brand new... it just doesn't reek.
I don't know how scientifically nutritous it is, but my tank is doing well after several months of using it, so that's good enough for me.
