These are thicker and seem to hold their shape better. I traced around the filter pan and cut two new filters out of one piece. I'll use the other one when needed. My aquarium is looking good, so I have no complaints. Its floss, they had fast shipping. Great deal in the long run, I'm going to use this instead of the replacement packs.... Should work just fine.Am impressed with this product. Will continue using it in my freshwater tanks. This company has been in business for decades and really has a good filter product.I've been using the Accurel media pad in my Marina S20 filter for a couple of months. When cut to size, it easily slips into the filter's slots. It is stiff, which makes it very easy to slide into place. It also seems to have a tighter weave than other media pads, so it catches even the tiniest specs of debris. I slip it into the skinny intake slot so that the water has an initial filter before it hits the biomax and Purigen sections. In the far section of the filter, I use an Accurel Ammonia Reducing pad. The water in the fish tank remains perfectly clear and the fish remain healthy. Because of the stiffness and the density, I much prefer the Accurel white media to the standard blue and white style.I bought this for my ehiem 2028 and works great. I little on the stiff side so make sure you use good scissors when trimming.
