I have a 125g saltwater tank and added this powerhead a couple weeks later which turned out great. For the price of it and how well it works is very worth it. It doesnt say on the description but it can be added with a wave maker to make it better for a reef tank. I will atleast buy one more so i know for a fact that i wont have dead spots in my tank.
