For the price they're great but they create bubbles just as big as having no stone at all. On a low setting you'll get 1 steady stream of bubbles in 1 spot of the stone.

I've had fish tanks in my home for more than 40 years. I tried them all. These are the best I've tried so far. Plenty of very fine bubbles for their size with little back pressure. You can extend their life a little by soaking them in a 10 to 1 mixture of water and bleach for the night. Rince well the next morning and they should be good as new. Do this only once because after that it will not revive them anymore. But at this price with Amazon Prime, you can just replace them when they start to clog.

There's nothing horribly wrong with these except that they are very small air stones. If you are looking to make a lot of bubbles, then you need to get a bigger stone.
