This shell-shaped air stone works well in small aquariums like mine and I had no problems installing or using it. It doesn't require a lot of air to make a decent amount of bubbles.
I got two Marina brand airstones. One starfish and one clam. The starfish stopped working after 2 days and I had to take it out of my tank to replace it with the other one. When I tried to remove the tubing from the nozzle of the airstone, the entire arm broke off into a cloud of blue dust. The nozzle got stuck inside the tube and it took me five minutes to remove. Later I put the clam in the tank, and the nozzle is already starting to snap off.
Please DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY.
Ps: The company who made this also owns Elite, Fluval and AquaClear, so don't get ripped off by them either!
