This is the only rawhide I feel comfortable giving my puppy. With all the horror stories about shards of rawhide breaking off, getting caught in dogs' throats or digestive systems, or the horrible chemicals in imported rawhides, I had no plans to ever give my puppy rawhide. But then I ran across a very thorough review of rawhide products in Whole Dog Journal and in the end, this company was the only rawhide the author recommended. Made in the USA, with no awful unregulated chemicals, these are made of fresh, thick hide that will get moist as your dog chews on it instead of breaking off in shards.

And just as importantly, my puppy loved it! He chewed on it almost nonstop until he got the "bacon" roll out and finished, then worked on and off on the plain outer hide until it disappeared. And despite being flavored, there was no weird stink as with some other chewy treats. Now that he has all his adult teeth and is a more enthusiastic chewer, I'm going to get several more Wholesome Hide products.

My 80 lb. dog loves to chew. This bone makes her very happy and interested. The bacon starts her off and then she'll devour the whole bone later. I give these to her as a special treat and she acts accordingly.

Hydor Koralia Nano 240 Aquarium Circulation Pump 240 GPH

Bought this for my planted 37 gallon tank to circulate a dead spot in my aquarium. This is my 1st Koralia or water circulation pump and was worried that it would blow away my fish and plants all over so I bought this under sized one instead of the Koralia Nano 425 which was rated for my tank size. I was surprised at how it circulates well for a big tank. It creates a dispersed and gentle current, unlike a powerhead that blasts a stream of water in a single direction. My fish has also perked up, they seem to like the gentle current and I often see them swimming around it. Also, it's nice to see the leaves on my plant sway with the current.

As for my dead spot, this little thing took care of it and water is clearer. I have it aimed down and towards my Fluval C4 and any detritus or fish poop is pushed towards it. The magnetic suction cup is awesome, it gives you flexibility of putting this Koralia anywhere in your tank without worrying about the suction cup wearing out. Did I mention the size of this thing? It's slightly larger than an egg but does not take up a lot of space. Others have mentioned the red ball clip that attaches to the magnetic suction cup may break, but in my experience it's a solid piece and unless you are putting a lot of force and stress on it, then yes it will break.

Recommend this product highly!

If you are looking to create cross flow in a small nano (I use it on my Nano cube 12) this is perfect. I had a much larger water mover in there, and it was just too much.. This is powerful enough for small tanks and created a great flow throughout the tank when paired with the Hydor spinner on the tanks pump output.

I do not think I would use this on anything larger then a 12 or bio cube 14. If I where to have a 20 long, or even a 28 nano cube I would opt for something a little more powerful.

It is small, and not very obstructive of viewing even when placed towards the front of the tank.

I really love this product. This is my second one. I searched for the smallest size and this is what I came up with. My fish seems to struggle with my larger one like they were in a sea storm which I really didn't like it seem to stress them out. I found this and I love it and the fish love it they can swim in calm sea's again! It's a great product just right for what I was looking for. Thanks to the reviews, I decided to give this pump a try for my 9 gallon Eheim Aquastyle saltwater nano. I've been in the hobby over 10 years mostly heavily planted, aquascaped freshwater tanks in the past from 50g to 0.5g. I've always been very pleased with the Hydor products and this one is no exception. For the quality, price and function, this is a great pump, especially on Amazon. I wouldn't go cheaper with a more inferior brand or even a more costly one that does the same thing.

I found other reviews with tank descriptions especially helpful so here's mine: my saltwater nano has 1 clownfish, 1 cleaner shrimp, cuc's and several soft corals of starburst polyps, kenya tree, pulsing xenia and mushrooms live rock and 1 inch live sand (sand is more aesthetics). Eheim's tanks are beautiful on their own, so every accessory counts going in. Most importantly, I didn't want the other inhabitants blown in a circle or with such force that they would have to hide in a corner of rock. Sure enough, based on the reviews and other research on fish boards, the open flow of this pump is gentle enough in the tank for everyone. Based on my live rock formation, I have the pump on the back left side, a little lower than mid-tank directing current toward the opposite wall with the corner filter (sand gets kicked up if placed lower). The pump creates a soft current that wraps nicely around the rocks to give the corals a gentle sweeping effect in combo with the filter flow overhead. The starburst polyps have already grown larger in the past week and the CUC's are out and about more often in the light. Another benefit is that the sand has been cleaner too, even as I increased my light hours for better tank viewing in winter.

Since I have only had the pump 2 weeks, I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars. As other reviewers mentioned, there is a slight hum to my otherwise nearly silent tank. But the animals all seem more lively and "happier" with the added flow so I'm keeping it. If the vibration gets much louder or circulation fades, I'll likely replace it with another one. Hopefully the sound remains minimal and pump lasts a couple years. If so, I would vote 5 of 5. Cheers and happy reef/fish keeping!

We use all of the Instant Ocean gel foods to vary our fish family's diet. This is truly a favorite of our 2 lionfish. They seem to wait to eat until this gel pack is used more so than the others when I use 2 different packs at the same time during feedings. We also have several herbivores who like it, as well, even when they get fed their own herbal mix. If it makes it to the bottom of the tank, the crabs go after it, too.

You will need a hole digger to dig the 4' hole. Initially add 4 gallons of water and the "stuff" and you're set. Once a week add one gallon of water and table spoon of the "stuff" and that's all you need do. Mine has been installed for a week and I like it. Be advised the vender does not include a scoop for the poop.

AquaClear Levelling Device for Power Filters

I bought a fish tank set up second hand, and it included two Aquaclear filters. The Aquaclear 70 filter I received was missing it's levelling device and without it, I was just trying random things to keep it level. It would work for a few days and then eventually get loud as it went off-level.

I ordered this part as an Add-on and my only regret is that I didn't order a few more at the same time just for back up. Because my filter is older, I did have some difficulty fully inserting the device into the hole in the bottom of the filter, I couldn't get it all the way in due to both a slightly different design than the older model device that was originally on my filter, and because the original owner had tried to super glue the original levelling device back into place, leaving a glue residue that is preventing me from fully installing it.

Works as it's designed and my filter is quiet & level now.

This leveling device is horrible. It will do for a replacement, but if you can find the OEM one, go for it.

I've used Chemi-Pure in a number of different filters and have always had amazing results. I've kept agressive chiclids, African chiclids, and marine fish and live rock tanks using Chemi-Pure. My water always tested very well.

If you've never used Chemi-Pure before, you need to determine how many bags you need. I had a Marineland Magnum canister that required 2 bags to fill the carbon canister (it was a tight fit though).

I am a huge fan of using multiple filters with different filter media in them. This enables you to clean one out while leaving the other one undisturbed so as not to harm the good bacteria the tank needs. No matter how good your chemical media is, you need to stock properly, feed judiciously, and perform your tank maintenance. Chemi-Pure is good, but it won't make up for neglect.

I love this stuff, at least as much as you can love bags of charcoal and ion exchange resins. I'd only suggest it if you have a canister filter. I use an Eheim 2211 and it works great.

I bought this because it absorbs nitrates and phosphates. I don't want to mess with live plants. I have a 10 gallon with three fish at about 70% bioload. My nitrates stay at a constant 10 ppm. They don't go up, they don't go down. I've had my aquarium up and running for a few months and still haven't had to do a water change. Apparently, I should only have to change this once every six months.

I'll never go back to just activated carbon again.

I had a longtime problem with low pH (6.5) due to living in a mountain area and after using this product for a couple months, it finally brought the pH up into the neutral range (7.2). But I have to say that I don't know enough about the science of it all and that around the same time I had begun use of aquarium salt and Biotene (establishes beneficial colonies of bacteria, also available through Amazon). But whatever: Neutral Regulator was involved in solving my tank's chronic low pH.

This shell-shaped air stone works well in small aquariums like mine and I had no problems installing or using it. It doesn't require a lot of air to make a decent amount of bubbles.

I got two Marina brand airstones. One starfish and one clam. The starfish stopped working after 2 days and I had to take it out of my tank to replace it with the other one. When I tried to remove the tubing from the nozzle of the airstone, the entire arm broke off into a cloud of blue dust. The nozzle got stuck inside the tube and it took me five minutes to remove. Later I put the clam in the tank, and the nozzle is already starting to snap off.

Please DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY.

The amount of testing you have to do week after week is very tedious with this product. I have not seen any difference in the colors of my corals after a month of using it. The tests really kill me though, especially the potassium one becuause it takes sooo long and it's so difficult to read the colors. Overall, I'd say just keep up with the water changes, use premium salt and a good part A & B and you'll be good.

These fit my Therapure 201M Air Purifier. It installed in a couple minutes with just a Phillips screwdriver. All Glass Aquarium AAG21782 Fluorescent Deluxe Hood, 26bf

The review below is pretty harsh, I just got this because I was in desperate need of a hood, and it's actually pretty decent or at least what you'd expect for a fish tank hood :)

I got a deal on a 26-gallon bow front tank and stand from my local pet store $50 but didn't include a hood. Based on the measurements, the tank (which could very well be an Aqueon tank) matched the dimensions of this hood close enough to chance it.

As it turns out, this hood is an AQUEON-brand hood, as mentioned below and comes in Aqueon packaging. So if you have an Aqueon 26 bow-front tank, I'd wager this is the hood meant for it. It comes with a Fluorescent light (which is probably why it's called the Flo Deluxe).

Here's my thoughts:

' It shipped right away and arrived after 2 days It came 4 days ahead of the earliest estimated arrival time.

' The fitment is perfect side to side, but leaves a small gap from front to back However, that gap it isn't large enough to cause any water to be exposed, or even be noticeable unless you're looking at it closely. It still rests on both the front and back ledge. The gap may be to allow the hood enough space to open and close (the entire front of the hood flips up).

' The fluorescent light is bright it illuminates my entire tank however this was actually the biggest negative to me. It it gives a purple tint to all the white objects in the tank / "black-light" effect which can be either good or bad. Personally I'm not digging it at the moment, but I don't like fluorescent lights period.

' The material is average black fish-tank plastic with textured effect.

' It's a hood that fits a weird size/shape tank, when you need a hood that fits a weird size/shape tank. It's functional, and it's good enough quality for a fish tank :)

This hood was terrible, i ordered it for my Aqueon 26 Bow Front Aquarium. The hood you receive, IS and Aqueon, but it is made of very cheap plastic and it doesn't fit the aquarium correctly. every time you move the hood just a little bit, it dips down into the aquarium. I was very disappointed in this product and now I have to pay to return this garbage.The one thing i did like about this hood, was the light itself. It was a very nice light fixture and the bulb was bright. But other than that i don't like it. I would suggest to anyone who wants to buy this, to just purchase a 26 Bow Front Aquarium Glass Canopy and a separate light fixture, or just making the Canopy yourself with some plexi-glass.

Swims like a rock. Found the bottom faster then the things I drop by accident. My Betta barely checked this one out at all. All five did the same landing right side up and did very much look like a fish sitting on the bottom. Rather attractive sitting there but I did not buy it to sit. again like the other one that just sat at the top, it becomes just one more thing to clean and might have done well had it floated at mid level in my ten gallon tank.

Fluval Pre-Filter Media - 750 grams/26.45 ounces

I've had my tank up and running for a month prior to buying the prefilter media, bio media, and filter floss. Before I installed these, my water was fairly clear, just a little cloudy, but nothing that I would have worried about. However, after I put this in, my water was crystal clear. I've never had a tank with water so clear. It's quite amazing. I have a fluval FX5 filter with the prefilter media and a bag of carbon on the top rack, 2nd shelf has 2 boxes of fluval bio media, and 3rd shelf has the filter floss with 2 boxes of biomedia. That's what it took to fill my filter. I found it was cheapest at the time on amazon. I have a 125g tank with a walleye and a couple dozen feeder fish (so a fairly messy bunch of fish). I highly recommend this stuff. Works great (been using this for 3-4 months).

These work great, definitely needed as part of a filtration system. They last [seemingly] forever, so you really don't need to stock up on spares.

I bought this for my Fluval Edge and although it is basically loose in the box I managed to figure out a way that works for me and my tank.

After rinsing it very well, before replacing the old biomax, I cut some white replacement filter foam that is way thinner than the original Fluval filter foams and fold it in there so its not loose in my grey plastic filter holder.

I can't put too much because there is limited space in the holder for everything the tank needs but I get enough in there that works out well.

I would recommend and buy it again.

So I do have to say that from the front this is a very nice piece. But be warned that the back is hallow and looks less than appealing. If your tanks is flush against the wall and this piece is all the way to the back then it will look great, any other variation and you may not be as pleased.

Penn Plax Medium Rialto Bridge From Penn Plax Fish Tank Ornament

My African clawed frogs just love hanging out in and under this aquarium ornament bridge. This bridge looks better than the pictures shown on line. It has a lot of detail that looks great and it really spruces up the aquarium.

I have quite a few aquariums and quite a few ornaments. I recently ordered this for my 12 gallon aquarium. It fits nicely and takes up a good chunk of space, which I was hoping it would. The detail is great. It has a bit of a gothic appearence, which I wasn't really intending to have in my aquarium. I have black gravel, red plants, and now a dark gray bridge with a skull on the top. It is a great ornament, but depending on the look you want your aquarium to have I don't think this would fit into everyone's style. There are a lot of holes which creates an open swimming space that my fish seem to appreciate.

The detail is lovely. The color is a dark great. I was hoping for more of a fairytale appearance, but I would say it's more gothic/industrial. I don't think it was intended to look that way, but to me it does. For the price I think it's a bit expensive and there are other better ornaments available. Size-wise it's great. The detail is beautiful. My fish really love it (and that's all that matters right?). It has an open feel yet also gives fish a place to feel they are hiding and safe. It's shadowey, yet kids can still look in and find fish if they look hard enough. Overall, a great peice. The picture doesn't really show the gothic sort of appearance, which came as a surprise to me when I recieved it. On the other hand, it would make a great addition to any fish-tank that is going for that style. I've actually grown quite fond of it. And all of the kids that are in and out of my livingroom stop to appreciate it. The boys think it's pretty cool. And my fish, well they seem pretty happy exploring it up and down and all around.
