Our previous Mesh Crate was rounded and setting it up and dismantling it was a nightmare. So much so that we disposed of it after our recent vacation rather than face the hassle of setting it up again. The It'z a Breeze Cage fits its name to a tee. So so simple to assemble and our dog seems to love it as well. It is left with the door open in our loft and he spends his days in there while we are at work I highly recommend this product whether it be for travel or home.

I chose to buy this product again 10 years later because my first tent crate is still in use without any problems with frame, fabric or zipper. The new portable crate has a base that made different & it remains to be seen if it will give great service like its predecessor.

This is a great travel cage very light weight and easy to fold and store when not in use. It folds almost flat so we can store it in the vehicle handy whenever we need it. The foremost reason we bought it is because it was mostly made of mesh. Our dog overheats easily so we wanted a cage that would allow air movement. Plus, he can see out in all directions. Great design and highly recommended.

Mac is a 45 lb English Setter and we have always cage crated him in our van when driving.

Our large cage is perfect but he has a tendency to lick the metal grates even if we spray some Bitter Apple on them.

The "Its a breeze fabric tent crate" is large, easy to assemble and he can't lick the sides.

It stands up to a little weight being put on it and is very cool and open to air flow.

The sand color is nice but it is going to get dirty. We might consider getting the green and black version

I originally bought this to use as an aquarium ornament; however, it will be used in a plant terrarium instead.

Pros: The actual design is quite nice, as is the size and weight.

Cons: It has the feel of stone and is quite sharp in places, which is why I decided not to use it with living creatures like fish or amphibians. Also, the color/appearance is much more realistic in the picture than in person.

If I hadn't had another way to make use of it (in the plant terrarium) I would have considered returning it.

#500 Pellets - 2 lbs. Fish Food

Very, very inexpensive and the ingredient list seems healthy for my fish but this food disintegrates almost immediately after hitting the water. My tanks look like big fishy snowglobes with brown floaties for many hours after feedings.

My fish don't really like this food that much (they let it float on the water for a long time). The fish have voted it one star but I'll give it two just to be nice...but joking aside, I'd pass on this next time and suggest you do too.

Perfecta light is okay. Not like the way they used to make them 15 years ago. This time around a the light is slightly smaller than before and you may not fit 2 at a time on a 55 gallon tank. It is a cheaper composite of plastic also, because the density isn't there. Otherwise a good standard light. I've always know perfecta lights to be high quality. Today, I realize I may change my opinion.

The perfecto hood works great. I had to replace my old hood because it just was on it's last leg. This one seems to be working just fine.

I purchased this product with hopes that it would rival the Holiday Sugar Cookie grooming spray that the PetSmart grooming salon uses during the holidays.

Let me first say, that as a conditioning spray, it's wonderful. But it smells NOTHING LIKE a vanilla cookie. I read the previous reviews and I coated my goldendoodle with it, and blowed him dry.They said the smell gets better when it's dry. But as they had warned, it had a strong alcohol smell and instead of smelling like a vanilla cookie, it smelled like cheap children's vanilla cologne.

The spray that PetSmart uses actually smells like sugar cookies and lasts for at least a month. My dog smells like a child has doused him with cheap cologne. He's incredibly soft and awesome feeling, he just stinks to high Heaven.

So, If I were you, I would opt for another scent as this one is really disgusting. Because like I said, as a conditioning spray it works really well.

I've used another product that I can no longer find that smelled exactly like vanilla cookie..and lasted long as well..as soon as I sprayed "Nootie" on my dog I got a strong smell of alcohol..and a faint smell of vanilla..it does smell better once it dries,..i just avoid getting it on my hands.

Standing Buddha Aquarium Ornament Decoration

This lovely Buddha ornament fits comfortably in my 10 gallon aquarium. It acts as a very charming centerpiece. I'd recommend it for anyone looking to get that Zen feel, especially for goldfish. I find that this Buddha is perfect when coupled with fake bamboo and oriental/Balinese lamps. Though it is quite tall, the statue itself is rather thin and thus does not take up too much space. Overall, I am glad to have made this purchase. It's a great addition to the tank.

It looks great in my Betta aquarium, and even though it is plastic it doesn't look cheap. I think it looks like kind of like aged stone. I've even thought if I wanted to give the Betta more swim room I could put a clear vase filled with water standing upside down on the hands of the ornament (making sure I leave a pocket of air at the top for the Betta). I haven't tried this idea out yet, so I'm not sure if it will be stable enough, we'll see when I do try it.

I hooked this air stone up to a 100 ga Whisper air pump along with the 48" flexible air tube. This puts out an enormous amount of bubbles for its size. I actually had to crimp the tube a bit to reduce the amount of air because the bubbles it was producing were dislodging my plecos from their perches under a stump. Definitely worth the purchase and it makes for an amazing show of bubbles under any decorations or amongst plants.

I ordered this bubble disk at the same time I ordered one of those long rod bubble stones that sticks to the tank. This bubble disk has lasted much longer. It's still bubbling while the other has given up the ghost. Only down side is that it won't lay flat at the bottom of my tank. My fish keep removing any rocks I use to anchor it down. (I've got large gold fish.) But even so, it does not come to the top of the tank. It stays at the bottom, just not flat.

I have a 75 gallons tank and wanted to give it better oxygenation, so I started looking for an aerator. I had to think a lot before deciding which size to get, and in the end I bought the 3" one. As others said, it produces an enormous amount of bubbles for its size, and it's perfect for my vertical aquarium, so considering its power, you might as well consider that the size is utterly important, depending on the size of your tank; I believe the 3" will work great for 100-gallons-and-less aquariums.

The only disadvantage is that it needs some weight to stay down, I had to tie it to the bottom. Besides that, it's perfect, and having it for a week with 6 ten-inches goldfishes who usually make a mess everywhere, it was pretty much clean.

This little airstone 5" is wonderful for my koi ponds and smaller 90 gallon aquariums. I use drilled slate disk from the fish store to anchor the air stone any place I want, they are cheap, and sold for anchoring plants. I just run the airline through the hole and drop the airstone any place I want in either ponds or tanks, and believe me without the slate disk, these airstones would be moved around by my koi. Thanks for carrying a great product!

I was reluctant to purchase these at first because of the price and the fact that they do not include a power adapter.. I went on ebay and found a strip light with adapter for $10. I paid for my lesson, as it did not last a week before shorting out and when i pulled it off it disintegrated.

I purchased 4 of these LED pods, and he outlet for them. again.. it does NOT come with a wall outlet you need to PURCHASE it SEPARATELY. I just want to make that clear to anyone thinking about buying this so you do not have to purchase and wait for this item after receiving these without a plug.

I purchased 4 pods to work as lunar lighting for my 12 gallon nano cube reef. I tested it briefly after installing it, but it was still fairly light out.. I was able to get some glow off of my corals, and with just one pod going it was a nice dim blue. I can't wait for it to get dark enough so I can check out the corals under all 4.

They are quality pods, they have double sided tape on them, but I found that it wasn't very good, I replaced it with a better grade tape and stuck them to the heat sink that I have there for my upgraded LED lights. The package also includes screws to screw them in if you wish. They are pretty strait forward. The instructions on the back claim that one power supply will power 20 LED pods. I linked the 4 I have together and they all light up fine.

I will be getting more for my other tanks down the road. I will also upload pictures of them running when I get a chance.

Dingo Home for Dwarf Hamsters and Mice

I have this cage and it is attached to a Crittertrail one, 2 crittertrail mini one's, a habbittrail outpost, and a crittertrail outhouse. It makes for a great setup, and basically a mansion for my 4 dwarf hamsters. I am undecided if I love this cage or hate it... you can descide for yourself, but here is some pros and cons to help along:

Pros:

LOVE the 2 layers, really gives them that burrowing feeling that is so comforting to them.

Easy access to the lower level.

Pretty solid.

Cons:

Connections are weak and hard to adapt to crittertrail tubes, even thought they are listed as compatable.

You must buy door kits if you plan to add any tubes or other cages, they are somewhat hard to find.

The wheel is COMPLETELY obnoxious although safer than some of the ones I have seen it was removed after 1 day of my dwarf hamsters finding it. I tried to put a Silent Spinner (the most safe and silent and best quality wheel I have ever had the pleasure of owning) but there wasn't enough room, so I put 2 of them elsewhere in my system.

Not much ventalation, although with my setup this isn't as much of a problem because of the other cages connected. This is an issue as small animals can DIE from the ammonia of there own urine if not well ventalated.

The top half of the cage is hard to access.

All in all, if you are adding this to an existing system with good vent. and you don't mind buying door kits, finding specal tubes, and only handleing your pet when they feel like comming out, it's a good cage, but PLEASE at least add a small cage with good vent. and put a silent spinner wheel in! :)

I completely disagree with other reviewers who though this cage wasn't top quality. I connected this cage with two others and this is by far the favorite for my hamsters. My Campbell's hamsters absolutely love this cage and in fact my girl had babies in there twice in succession because she felt so safe in there. So now I have 6 hamsters (girls because I put the boys in another set of cages) and this is the best cage because it is sooooo easy to clean, you just unsnap one orange hing on either side and lift up the plastic to clean, and my hamsters really love it here and I can just remove the purple lid on the side to have them come out so I can pet them. The wheel is really nice and it's inside the cage so the hamsters don't throw stuff all over my floor and it's true that it gets loud after you have it for a while but if you put a tiny bit of corn oil on the part that connects it to the cage it will stay quiet. My hamsters really like going into the orange "underground" compartment and hang out in this cage the most.

This is a great cage for one or two MICE of DWARF hamsters-but not for larger hamsters or garbles! I have had my cage for a few months now and it has been working really well for my single male mouse.

Pros: Easy to clean, easy to take apart and put back together, the "underground" area for the mouse to sleep and burrow in is great and he really enjoys it, you can add other cages or accessories to this cage.

Cons: Poop gets stuck between the 2 parts of the wheel and it must be taken completely apart to clean, the water bottle leaks, and unless your pet is people friendly, it can be difficult to get them out of the cage by means of the lid.

I purchased the 7 1/2 inch ornament for my 10 gallon tank. I had read other reviews where people said, it didn't look as colorful and vivid as it does in the picture. When I opened the box, I was expecting it not to be colorful, but it was colorful. It is so pretty and it really makes my tank more enjoyable to look at. Now if only my fish would swim in there instead of looking at it wondering if it's some strange monster. This is a perfect size for a 10 gallon tank, it's not too small and not too large.

At first I was dissatisfied that the colors weren't as bright as they appeared in the ad, but then I put it in my aquarium with plants and other decor and it looks great! It looks like a mini coral reef and the colors blend well with the plants on a light white gravel. My fish also use the cave to hide or explore and that is always fun to watch. The quality seems good also. So all-in-all I am very happy with it and the price was very good for the quality.

I bought this for my 12yr old $1.25 goldfish.I thought this will be very colorful and will brighten up it's space since the gravel is almost white after we last replaced it 3 yrs ago.Even though this seems well built ,I was disappointed that it was very drab in color,not really colorful at all.Fishy seems to be curious about it so I guess it's not all bad. I purchased the Mini Reef for my 1-Gallon Desktop home of my Betta (Freddie). But I also have two ghost shrimp. Ghost shrimp need a place to hide at times as they molt their protective skin on occassion. This not only serves the purpose but looks fantastic. No regrets!

This is a really nice peice, but needs to be bought in store for all fish with longer fins or sensitive skin, as it's made in a fashion that some have sharp edges on the inside. Make sure to feel all around inside the gazebo and the little rock formation (my halfmoon doubletail betta shoves his whole self in that little part!) and never put anything in a betta tank that doesn't pass the pantyhose test. If you run pantyhose all over it and they snag, so will a bettas fins. I was able to find one in my local Petco that was safe for my betta, although I did cut off the plastic plant attached...it was very cheesy looking and for just a few dollars I got a real live bamboo to put in with it.

Visually it is appealing, however within a couple of days one of the "bamboo" stalks was found floating on the top of the water.

I bought this one in Petco and they told me to wash, rinse and later leave the gazebo on a bucket with warm water (for 15 min) before introducing to my aquarium. They told me to do that with every decoration, is a really beautiful piece. If you didn't clean the gazebo before introducing to your aquarium and the water is getting cloudy, get a Water Clarifier; that will help.

Anyway it does not fit in my 9gal biube but does in my 10 gal with ease. The plastic bamboo parts are cheesy looking in rl.

It does not pass the panty hoose test so I couldn't put it with my betta anyways.

I give it three stars because my loaches like it. Other than that it is pretty enough but I dislike it's quality.

I love aqueon food! Unlike the tetra brand aqueon does not use food coloring or preservatives. aqueou also uses whole products instead of fillers and the color of their flakes come from all natural ingredients. This to me is great because my fish love it and I know it is good for them.

I bought this for my angel fish, who spawn in my tank regularly, thinking that I could raise the fry there. The mesh is WAY too big all of the babies swam right back out and were eaten. The mesh is about the same as a normal fish net entirely too big for any fry I've seen regardless of species. If you're looking for something to actually raise babies in, look elsewhere. Also the construction of the thing was incredibly flimsy.

I loved the size of it, bigger than I expected. Easy to put together. I don't know what some of these reviewers thought when they ordered a $7 fry hatchery. Of course it is cheap plastic. Want something more sturdy, buy a more $ one. It's not going to break apart or anything. Just don't chunk it across the room.

Anywoo, I do not recommend this to anyone. My fry were in there for ONE day. ONE day. I woke up this morning, went to go feed my fish and the suction cups failed during the night. ALL of my fry around 40 new red jewel fry, itty bitty guys, got out and were eaten. Not one single one was found. The hatchery was attached by one suction cup all the way at the bottom of my tank. I was so pissed off.

I ordered two, one was for the fry, the other for a fish that the parents of the fry beat up, that fish died within a few hours of putting him in there, it held his weight just fine while he was in there on the bottom of the hatchery, but this morning, that one too was on the bottom of the tank. Failed suction cups.

This hatchery cost me a lot of money for I had planned to sell this batch of red jewels.

Way bigger than expected for my 30 gallon tank. When I removed tried removing it after only two weeks of being in there, two of the suction cup nobs broke off. Still works but disappointed in the plastics weekness. The suction cups are too strong it really only needs the top row.

Was using this to house a Lionhead Goldfish with swimmer bladder issues so he didn't have to lay at the bottom of the tank or deal with other healthy goldfish. For the price I can't complain. I found it useful. It has ample room for young fry to grow. The plastic is somewhat rigid and breaks easily with the slightest pressure. I had to use the time tested cure of duct tape to solve that problem. It still serves me.

The Turbo Twist unit is well worth the money. I had quite a few parasites that kept coming back and each time I had to spend the money on medicines to rid of them. It got to be a real pain in the butt. With other UV sterilizers on the market and not sure which one to purchase, I took a gamble and bought the Turbo Twist. I have had the unit about 2 years now and can't think of a time since then that I have had problems with diseases or parasites. The product does what it is intended to do. You must have the appropriate water flow from your filter in order for it to work properly though. I have mine installed on my canister filter and it works excellent. It also comes with a nice bracket system so that you can either use the suction cups or screw it into your aquarium stand. I simply screwed the bracket into my aquarium cabinet on the inside so that it is not visible. I also installed quick-disconnects on each end so that I can clean the unit easily without having to dismantle the entire filtration setup. I hope this information helps your decision-making. I have owned and used the turbo-twist 6x UV pond sterilizer for 6 months. I've had a lot of difficulty with it, and today it sprang its final leak and is going into the trash. The basic problem is poor quality materials, aggravated by inadequate engineering. Here's what happened:

I used this for a 130gal indoor fishtank. It was mounted under the tank in an equipment enclosure, so any leak potentially can drain the tank through siphoning, even with the pump off. I initially had it mounted in a horizontal position, inline with a 400gal/hour canister filter.

On first install I noticed that the hose fittings are not good: they are supposed to seal the hose by screwing a ring outwards against the hose, squeezing it over a bulge (tang) on the male fitting. However, the ring isn't long enough to achieve this purpose, which is odd. I used high quality Eheim hose and the ring didn't even touch the hose before coming off the threads. Ok fine, I added my own hose clamps and moved on. Next the mounting brackets broke, like almost immediately. They, and most of the rest of the unit, are made of a flimsy and brittle black plastic that breaks under a small amount of stress. The design of the mounting brackets is such that this stress is very likely to occur except possibly under some ideal circumstances (which don't exist in a small under tank space). I jury-rigged my own mounting and kept going.

Within a few weeks the unit had stopped working (as monitored by the indicator light, and the resurgence of algae in the tank). After some investigation I discovered that the UV bulb was not seated properly in the socket. I spent a lot of time and effort working on this, trying to find better ways of seating the bulb, but the metal clip that's supposed to hold it in is...flimsy and weak! Eventually I changed to a vertical mounting position with the socket on the bottom: this is not a manufacturer recommended position, but it's the only way the bulb would stay seated and keep electrical contact. It still went out ocsassionally if it got bumped while cleaning the filters, and then I needed to jiggle it gently to get it to light again.

Today the entire unit started to leak rapidly, which I discovered when a puddle began spreading from under the tank stand. On investigation, the body seal had failed. As I was examining the unit, gently trying to tighten it to reseal, the entire body split: the black plastic housing appears to be even weaker and more brittle now than when installed, maybe due to UV exposure?

I was initially happy that this unit did indeed kill algae, but it caused me a lot of frustration and turned out to be highly unsatisfactory. I recommend avoiding all models in this line.

I HAVE A 240 GALLON FISH TANK THAT I HAVE HAD FOR OVER 20 YEARS. I HAVE FISH LIVE IN THIS TANK MUCH!!!! LONGER THAN ANYONE I KNOW. I HAVE HAD MY TANK UP AND RUNNING WHEN MY STERILIZERS WERE OUT OF COMMISSION AND I SEE A DRASTIC DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF THE WATER AND THE QUALITY OF THE FISH.
