110V 150W Watt Anti-Explosion Submersible Aquarium Fish Tank Water Heater

110V 150W Watt Anti-Explosion Submersible Aquarium Fish Tank Water HeaterThis heater works really well. I used it in a small tank, five gallons, and have had no problems with it whatsoever. It is convenient because it maintains the temperature itself, I don't have to worry about adjusting it all the time. Just plug it in and put it in. Shipping was quick and it was packaged well.

Save your money. I had it submerged in a 20 gallon tank and it lasted 3 days.

The glass body shattered

I would rate it a 5 if I could

Buy 110V 150W Watt Anti-Explosion Submersible Aquarium Fish Tank Water Heater Now

My tank keeps going from super hot to super cold, save your money this thing is no good. It is only in a 10 gallon. The thing recently died when water leaked into it. It will not be missed since it would stay constant at one temperature then suddenly rise or drop, and you never know when it is actually working. Also the instructions are in horrible English, a kindergartner would realize it has terrible English. Other than a brief description, it has no directions, and it also tells you to refer to a chart which is not included, so you guess a random number and hope it is a good temperature. I also tried converting the numbers like they were in Celsius, they are not.

The company contacted me and refunded me I think that they are a good company with good customer service. I am a CSR myself. The company may have other better products, but I do not recommend this product. You might have a better experience with this product, but I can assure you, you will have a good experience with their CSR's.

Was really impressed at the wattage for the price. However, within a day of putting this in the tank, it leaked water. Worst of all, when i reached in the tank to check the temp, there was voltage going through the water. Luckily, no animals were injured. But definetly NOT worth it.

Fluval Water Polishing Pad

Fluval Water Polishing PadI bought a package of six filters when I set up my new aquarium. The water polishing pads clear out a lot of the fine debris that the coarse mechanical filter will not stop. A bonus: when you clean the filter, rinse and squeeze out the pads (do not wring them) and put them back in the box. They will keep working and your water will look great!

These pads do a good job of collecting finer particles that will pass through the other media filters. These pads are also good for assisting in the creation of a bacteria colony which helps in the nitrification process. Use these for every filter change.

I bought this product. Because i wanted my tank water to be crystal clear, it did this well as lon as i changed out the paddes weekly(which is a little expensive). Had that been it i would have been perfectly happy but they caused my tank's bad gasses to rise. So i had to stop using them. Once i stopped using them

My tank returned to normal.

Como 5 PCS Decorative Plastic Plant for Aquarium Fish Tank

Como 5 PCS Decorative Plastic Plant for Aquarium Fish Tanki wish i would have read the reviews. i was in a rush at work when i ordered this.

basically this stuff is all hotglued together and falls apart if you look at it wrong.

do not buy!

What they amount to are 3 stem pieces hot glued into the base. On 2 of the 5, 1 stem of each fell out before I even got them. Opened the package & 2 stems fell out. Fortunately I do have a hot glue gun to borrow.

Other than being 'broken" upon arrival? They are as pictured.

EDIT: It turns out that hot glue can't hold under water, but Super Glue can! :)

I really loved these little purple plants, until they started falling apart. 3 of them are still in one piece, but i'm assuming parts will start to float away from the base soon enough. If they'd been a little better quality, then they'd be a 5 star item!

I really like the vibrant color, but I'm not to fond of the quality of the product. Some stems tend to fall out from base, which for me is ok because I will attach them to other decorations

They look nice until you clean them and they fall out of the base and you can't get them to go back in their hole and stay. Another junky product. Pretty much use to being screwed living in the US.

Simple Solution Washable Cover-Ups, X-Small, Pink/Purple (Pack of 2)

Simple Solution Washable Cover-Ups, X-Small, Pink/PurpleMy 10 month old Yorkie just came into heat for the first time. I had disposable dog diapers, but they were too bulky (made for actually urinating in) not just the little bit she bleeds. She couldn't even barely walk in the disposable one's, she more less waddled when she had to walk. Then I ordered an XSmall in these washable cover-ups and they were a bit too small for my almost 6 lb yorkie with an 11" waist. According the the size chart they should have fit her good, but I felt bad because they seemed to tight and didn't leave me room to adjust the velcro any. Therefore, I ordered the size Small and they fit pretty good since they have velcro that you can adjust. I just use the doggie pads or even a human panty liner or pad cut in half if its too big. Works wonderfully!! =) Very happy with these over any kind of disposable diaper! Not to mention she likes to chew on anything she can get her little mouth on and she has yet to chew on these cover-ups and she has been wearing them 6 days now. I would highly recommend these for your dog in heat, I would just be careful on what size you order. Petsmart also has the same one's, but they are more expensive in the store than what they are here on amazon. For instance the size small in Petsmart are $18.99 and on Amazon I got them for $13.68. Just remember the larger size, the more expensive.

I have a little Shi Tzu, she weighs less than albs so I ordered the xs first, it was too tight, probably due to all of her fur I would get this one for a chihuahua or similar short coat dog. I reordered the small which is perfect with room to expand with the velcro. We cut a sanitary napkin in half and place the open side facing toward her tail. It works great with no leaks and much cheaper than the liners and more absorbent. My little dog is trained for pads but leaks when she's excited so these work good. Of course if we forget and leave it on too long she pees in it. This has only happened a couple of times but when it did, no problem, no leaks. Oh what we do for our furry friends!!!!

Buy Simple Solution Washable Cover-Ups, X-Small, Pink/Purple (Pack of 2) Now

Nice price for a two pack of washable dog diapers. However, they are sized way too small. These x-small ones look like they would fit a squirrel! I had to return and order a size larger. They are very thin and flimsy, however, if you use a women's minipad in them, they could do the job. One of my dogs can get them off, so it depends on the dog as to whether they will work for you.

I like having the washable, reusable doggie diapers rather than throwing money away on disposable. I would suggest skipping the Simple Solutions liners that are sold to go with the diaper and simply buying feminine hygenie pads. Cut them in half and they work perfect and are much more absorbent.

A seller by the name of Ablackhorse is trying to dissuade me from posting my review of this product that they sold me so I will post my review here. I received NAVY and BLACK, x-small, diapers instead of the pink and purple shown. BOTH X-SMALL DIAPERS WERE TOO SHORT TO FIT COMFORTABLY AND THE SMALL SIZE IS MUCH TOO BIG FOR MY 8 POUND BICHON. The XS size just isn't cut correctly; unrealistic size. Made in China and China has poor quality control. The material is very thin so put a pad in it.

Hydor Magi-Klean Aquarium Pump and Accessories Cleaner - 3 pack - makes 1.5 gal solution

Hydor Magi-Klean Aquarium Pump and Accessories Cleaner - 3 pack - makes 1.5 gal solutionThis stuff is awesome. Cleans all the gunk off your powerheads or anything else you soak it in. I even mixed up a larger batch to soak my skimmer.

My aquarist mixed this up at 4pm yesterday and now some 19 hours later it still has not cleaned it as I expected. I have even had to break out a hard bristle brush and a plastic razor. Vinegar would do a better job!

Works pretty well but only gets 3 stars because what the don't tell you is your gonna need to use all 3 "single" use packets at once in order to completely submerge and clean your power heads or heaters....

My advice:

_Dissolve all 3 packets in a bucket with just 1 gallon of water.

_Completely submerge all equipment, let soak for about 4 hrs.

_Brush or wipe off any leftover gunk and Rinse well. Done.

Hagen Marina Naturals Foreground Silk Plant, Green

Hagen Marina Naturals Foreground Silk Plant, GreenThis foreground plant is a light green color with darker green on the outside of the leavesvery pretty. It looks really pretty in the water with the aquarium lights shining on it. I like the shapes of the unique leaves; they look real. The colors are vibrant but not so bright as to look fake. I would love to someday have real plants, but until then this is the best choice.

I have a 25 gal freshwater tank which was so boring before I decorated with 12 silk plantssmall, med and large sizes. I arranged the plants around 2 black lava rocks and added a blue background. The colors of the plants look nice with the black rocks and the blue background. The plants fan out from either side of the rocks and sway in the water.

The colors of the plants make the colors of the fish stand out more. Plus the fish seem to feel more secure because they can hide among the plants, like they would in the wild. They search the leaves and under the plants for missed food. There are lots of little areas among the plants for the fish to explore and hide. As a pet owner, I feel like it is my responsibility to provide the most comfortable home I can. My little guys seem relaxed and seem to like having these silk plants in their aquarium.

I am happy with these plants. I like the way they add color and texture to my aquarium and my fish seem to like having a more comfortable home.

The colors are vibrant, but not too bright. I love the shapes of the broad leaves, they look real. The colors on the plants make the colors of the fish stand out, too.

I love these! I bought several for my 10-gallon tank, and ended up putting two of them in the 3-gallon betta tank instead. He loves them! Bettas like to have cover, and two create the perfect amount of hiding place for him, without cluttering up the cylindrical tank. They are also nice and soft, so he will never hurt himself on them. I would highly recommend these.

This plant is a nice foreground plant, especially considering the cost. Its color is a brighter green than I prefer, but it's nice and soft for my goldfishes' fins. Also, it doesn't float off easily, as some plants do, and the leaves don't droop, either.

I love this plant. It is made of silk, which is perfect for my betta's delicate fins. It is also pretty small, which is why it fits perfectly into my 2.5 gallon tank. I now have two plants in there, and my betta still has enough room to swim around. I would recommend this product to any fish owners with a smaller tank.

Aquarius Aq12005g Glofish 2 Hex Shape 1.6-Gallon Aquarium Kit

Aquarius Aq12005g Glofish 2 Hex Shape 1.6-Gallon Aquarium KitI bought each of my kids one of these tanks for their bettas. They love them. They can each pick which light setting they want. I was hoping the bettas would glow more, but that has nothing to do with the tank. I also bought a small filter for the tanks to keep them cleaner. Great tank for the price.

I bought this tank January 2, 2013 for my Betta Jack. It was great for the first few weeks, then the lights weren't so bright anymore and now they're going out. I don't think this tank is worth the price being asked or what I paid for it by a long shot. I cannot find anyway of replacing the bulbs and the inside the hood is rusting. For all of this nonsense, plus there is no filter or anything special about this tank, other than the "great" LED lights, lol, I would not buy this again. I would not buy another tank like this again either.

BTW, quick note, another reviewer stated he was annoyed with the crappy filter, there is NO filter. That is a bubbler, NOT a filter.

Buy Aquarius Aq12005g Glofish 2 Hex Shape 1.6-Gallon Aquarium Kit Now

The aquarium I received is actually 1.8gal so that's a bit of a bonus, but in all other respects it's not worth nearly the list price (I was able to purchase it on sale). The undergravel filter keeps the water clean, though you should use gravel or decorations from a healthy, established tank when setting this up to ensure you have the proper bacteria started. After just a week of use, I noticed that screws in the hood had already begun to rust. Also, you can't use an automatic timer to turn the light on. So far all the LED bulbs seem to work fine though I'm guessing that once they go, though I would rather have the one small standard bulb that is used on most other similar small aquariums.

All in all, it's not bad but I wouldn't recommend paying more than $20 for it, if that much.

JAGER AQUARIUM HEATER 12" 125 WATT

JAGER AQUARIUM HEATER 12' 125 WATTExcellent product. The only downside(s) are; 1. It's a little difficult (not impossible) to get the heater positioned so you can see the "on" light. 2. I wasn't able to set the red indicator to the existing temperature when calibrating. 3. When you adjust the temperature, you have to remove the heater and hold on fairly tightly to adjust the blue control. I would recommend the company either supply a holding tool, or somehow make the adjustment system more user friendly.

Still a great heater, once adjusted.

Nylabone Dura Twin Pack Bacon and Chicken Chew

Nylabone Dura Twin Pack Bacon and Chicken Chew, MediumOur dog loves these bones. Due to the durability of this product, she can chew on these for hours at a time for months. I'd rather pay a little more for a quality, longer lasting toy for our dog than something she will tear up in less than a day. She's happy, we're happy.

I have found that these are the only things my dogs love and enjoy, and take some time to get through. The only flaw is the way they chew it actually becomes a blunt point like a knife that you can cut off with a simple saw a few times before it becomes too short and a choking hazard. It pairs wonderfully with the Large Kong toy. You can insert one end of the bone into the Kong and the dogs hold down the Kong to chew the bone. Add another and make a dumbbell for your dog!

The package contains two of the standard durable Nylabones. Another post states one of the two bones is the edible type, but that is not accurate as far as I can tell. Note these are the "giant" size, which are a good size for my 52-pound Lab mix and will last him a long while.

Got these about a month ago, and my black lab loves his. He's still working on the first one (bacon flavored), the edges are roughed up as expected and occasionally I find little pieces of the plastic around the floor, but he carries this thing everywhere. He's 60lbs of chewing puppy teeth and this is perfect for him. Anything that keeps him distracted from chewing other things in my house, like pillows, clothes, shoes, and towels.

Only downside is when he decides to show mommy his toy a little too close and I get scratched (usually in the face or arm) with the bone, but that's to be expected.

TOM Aquarium Maintenance Gravel Siphon, Nozzle 18-Inch by 1-Inch Hose, 5-Feet Length

TOM Aquarium Maintenance Gravel Siphon, Nozzle 18-Inch by 1-Inch Hose, 5-Feet LengthWhy oh why do local fish stores not carry these? The pump action to start the siphon is far, far superior to the vacuums that require you to move the entire nozzle, which is inexplicably so popular. This is very easy to start for water changes and far less stressful on the fish, not to mention my sanity. I will never go back to the other kind again.

This thing works perfect. The vac was the perfect length for my 29gallon tank. Just stick it in there and squeeze the pump a few time and your siphon is going. No sucking on hose or getting wet.

The idea is a great idea. The hose is pretty good quality. The BAD PART is the CHEAP PLASTIC ACCORDION STYLE PUMP. It worked twice. If they were to replace the CHEAP Plastic Accordion with a Rubber Blub for the pump part, this would be great.

I own the 12 inch and just ordered the 18 inch. The best siphon I've ever owned.

PROS:

Easy

Great for cleaning gravel

Simple to start

drains right into a bucket

easy to store

durable

CONS:

Clogs occasionally (keep up on maintenance)

Siphon somtimes take a little work after a while

Could use a longer hose

Want TOM Aquarium Maintenance Gravel Siphon, Nozzle 18-Inch by 1-Inch Hose, 5-Feet Length Discount?

I use this gravel siphon to clean the sand in my 40 G mixed reef tank. I mostly use it to clean up the waste that mexican turbo snails leave behind. The siphon has a pump where the hose is attached to get the whole thing started. I though this was good, but a lot of time the suction would simply not work and I would still have to use my mouth. Also, the siphon has a filter where the siphon is attached to the hose to prevent most of the sand from getting sucked out. Problem with this is that it also prevents the poop and other large waste to get sucked out as well. Eventually this filter gets clogged and has to be cleaned out every 30 seconds or so otherwise you lose suction.

I still rated this 4 stars because when the filter is not clogged the suction is very strong and most of the sand stays in the tank. It is not perfect, but the best siphon I've used.

Exo Terra Allglass Terrarium

Exo Terra Glass Terrarium, 18 by 18 by 24-InchI did not order this terrarium from Amazon.com but I do own this specific one and I love it!

PROS: My pacman frog has called this terrarium home for about 2 years now. It is very beautiful and alluring. The terrarium is made very well and the glass doors are very convenient. Decorating the terrarium is actually kind of fun. At first I thought it would be a pain but you can make it look however you want and there are a lot of possibilities. My friends are always checking on my frog and what I have done with his tank this week. It looks more expensive than it is. Live plants make great decorations and add to the fun!! The terrarium holds heat well and is elevated so you can put a heater under it. This Terrarium is semi child proof as the doors lock and most people can't figure out how to open it LOL.

CONS: The top screen has places for you to put cords through such as a fogger or water pump. The only problem I have had is that if you feed your pet crickets they may escape through the cord areas but the problem is easily solved by rotating the screen so the slots are at the front of the tank. This presents a problem if you want crickets AND cords but the Exo Terra fogger is a rip off so if you get it make sure you keep your receipt for the day that you tired of it.

I would suggest getting the Exo terra light for the tank as it snaps into place and fits nicely. I thought I would need a heater but the light keeps the tank warm enough (for my specific demands). FYI my light housing (not ordered form Amazon) did not come with a bulb so keep an eye out for that you might have to buy one.

Make sure that if you get this you clean it a lot. I clean mine at least once a week. If you let it get too dirty gnats fit right through the screen and will invade! Plus keeping it clean will keep you and your pet happier and healthier.

My primary motivation for buying THIS cage:

I bought one of these recently after MUCH looking around for cages that open from the front, a feature that I have since found VERY nice for a larger cage. There are a number of solutions out there, including some very nice ones from glasscages dot com. but I settled on this cage over some higher quality options because the doors are hinged, rather than sliding (most other cages you will find on-line have sliding doors which might trap insects, sand, or even perhaps in some freak event catch the leg of your pet, in my opinion).

That said, many of my comments that follow match pretty well to what has already been said about this cage:

The Pros:

1) Hinged front doors, rather than sliding doors, avoid things being trapped in the door guides or between doors. Definately a NICE feature.

2) Vents below doors provide air flow. Nice touch.

3) Glass construction for all the see-through parts.

4) Screen has holes for cords or tubing to pass throughnice for pumps, lamps, heated rocks etc..

5) Looks NICE

Overall, I do like the cage... it is really a nice looker, and it operates "well enough" ... but there are of course...

The cons:

1) The door latch!! You either WILL break it, or always fear you will break it. Why Exo Terra didn't simply use the latch of their smaller cages on this one I don't know!

2) Plastic above the doors needs further reinforcement.. it flexes and could be easily damaged. Just be wary of it. I have to train myself not to want to rest my arm

on the cage rim when feeding crickets or transferring objects into/out of the cage.

3) Not sure if the hinges themselves are plastic, I am going to wager they are... again, be careful with it, and you'll be fine.

4) If you feed your reptile live things.. I STRONGLY suggest you do NOT put the Styrofoam background in the cage (I put mine behind the cage). It has channels

(for electrical cables or tubes) that will allow the insects to crawl up and out of the cage if you are not careful. At a minimum, they will hide in it.

You may elect to try to turn it upside down so that the hole at the bottom is at the top instead, but I suspect that crickets can climb the Styrofoam without

Difficulty and possibly escape next time you open the cage top should you elect to do so.

5) The screen is fine mesh, and doesn't transmit light very well. A top with built in light is probably in order. I will probably make my own top for it.

Other Notes:

1) I suggest fully cleaning out/sterilizing the cage, and looking for crumbs of Styrofoam and silicone sealant that were left from manufacture and the background.

2) Careful when lifting it.. its a bit heavy, and because of the weaknesses of having the doors there instead of glass, it'd be best to have help lifting it.

This cage could easily be a 5 star item if just a few minor things were addressed in terms of quality. I really like it functionally and aesthetically!

Buy Exo Terra Allglass Terrarium Now

I bought the 36x18x18 for my python. I was excited to have more creative access (side doors), and improve the airflow from my previous setup. The raised bottom allows for a variety of substrate heaters and still has a bit over 1/2 inch clearance. I have a constant heater running and have not had any problems with the wood stand underneath getting hot. The bottom section with air venting seems to be great for reptilian setups. The bottom is strong and sturdy, while the top is a bit weaker. It's almost like two different manufacturers from bottom to top.

The doors are a great touch, but that is where my problems started. The bottom of the doors latch firmly in place with a twist lock. This feature is fantastic. The top of the doors somewhat stay in place with a magnet. This is not so great. Currently, I'm not worried about my snake getting out, but I was shocked to see how easy it was to push open a gap with my finger at the top.

The framing at the top of the setup is also very flimsy. I don't expect to have to move the setup, but if I did, I would be concerned about the top frame. The screen on top is a wash. I have seen better, I have seen worse. I will say that the locks for securing the top mesh are great and work splendidly. There no way that anything I would consider having as a pet would get through those.

The "picture" in the back of the setup is underrated. With sliding ports on the top cage to allow for wiring, and hollowed out sections in the picture, it's a great way to run wired components into the terrarium. I don't currently have anything wired in, but the option is great.

Overall, I would say this is an excellent setup. The smart design and robust base more than made up for the flimsiness on top. I might be concerned with powerful / aggressive reptiles and the top corners of the doors, but for anything else, it seems perfect. I would buy another in an instant.

PROS:

Price is actually reasonable for what you get.

Sturdy bottom, with elevated base for heating and wiring.

Ventilation is great.

Variable dimensions really let you customize, and it can be hard to find affordable wide terrariums that aren't junk

CONS:

Flimsy top frame (may not really affect anything in many setups, does not effect integrity as far as pets getting out, for example)

Flimsy top corners of doors (again may not be a concern with most pets)

OVERALL:

Would buy again and recommend to anyone

SHIPPING:

Not a hit on the product, but I really wish I knew what companies were going to deliver my product before I click complete. The shipping was the worst experience ever. They said they called to schedule a time, but I had no message. I got the email from Amazon that they were trying to reach me, so I called on Saturday. The corporate office gave me a local number to call, and the person who answered said they did not schedule deliveries on Saturdays and that the office was closed (I don't think I've ever talked to a live human working in a closed office before). I called back on Monday and was given the option to receive the deliver on a Saturday (which makes it even more odd that the office is closed then). I opted for the weekday instead and got a delivery window of 11am-5pm. Guess I am taking the day off from work to work around the plumbers hours... Then they came and dropped off my terrarium and both glass doors were broken. This may not be CEVA's fault but by this point they were my scapegoat for the whole debacle...

Anyway, Amazon was great, the lady I talked to was very nice and my doors are en route.

If I ever find out that my only shipping option is CEVA, I will probably not purchase the product.

After 2+ years of providing a home for a very spoiled reptile, this Exo-Terra Allglass Terrarium has worked very well. We bought ours for under 300 dollars at a local pet store. There really is not many other options for this size of terrarium that we could find. Overall, I would buy another one if we had the need. There are some design flaws that are not too big to avoid this unit. PROs #1 Well built. #2 An established company. #3 Front opening doorseasy access for cleaning and feeding of critters. #4 Good ventilation from front via the top. #5 Very easy for the wife to clean with front door access. #6 24 inch height is great for certain reptilesmost like too climb. #7 Did I mention it is easy for the wife to clean? #8 The Reptile loves the room and the ability to climb for all his heat requirements. Cons #1 Background sucks! After all the good design and $300 later, they use styrofoam as a background?! It is a joke. Our reptile quickly dislodged the horribly painted background in under 12 months. The paint job was very unnatural as well. It looked like a half blind chimp that has never seen a rock formation rattle canned it. They should have used cork? #2 The top screen is weak. The support is made of plastic that reacts to heat too well....I corrected this gross engineering oversight by using a steel rod to support the screen. I admit I was not using their light hood. However, it is still poorly designed considering the cost (but an easy fix). #3 The door lock could "feel" stronger?it has not broke after 2+ years. No leaks, no escapes, no regrets. I would suggest this unit, even for a Gorn.

Want Exo Terra Allglass Terrarium Discount?

Great product. I have several (16) Exo Terra glass terrariums of all different sizes and have been using them since they hit the market a few years ago. Overall they are a great tank for most reptiles. I have used them for both desert and rain-forest setups and they perform admirably for both. The dual door design is super convenient for routine maintenance and feeding, it also helps contain quick animals looking to escape while your feeding. I have had no condensation issues even in very humid setups (many of my tanks are equipped with misting heads).

Pros:

1. Cost (if you consider/utilize the many built in features)

2. Durability, my oldest tanks are about 3 years old and have held up well. The one exception is the old screen top securing tab design (see Other notes below).

3. Resevour size, I use a false bottom design in all my rain forest tanks and still have enough room for bedding materials and live plants.

4. Cord ports, i have two tanks with water filters running and the built in power cord ports work well.

5. Elevated feet, i use heat mats on certain tanks and the elevated feet keep the weight off the heat tape (weight on the heat tape can cause problems)

Cons:

1. Back ground durability/function. I don't mind how the back grounds look...ok maybe they look a little cheap, but functionally speaking they are poor. Crickets climb them and escape or get behind them and hide. even if you block off the ports there is still a small ledge that is created between the screen top and the background that crickets love and never come down from, reptiles that can't climb won't be able to reach/eat them. If you routinely clean the Styrofoam, it will quickly fade, wear, and fall apart. I guess if you don't feed insects and wash them gently they may work well for a while. However, Mine get thrown out with the box it arrived in.

2. Cord port and sliding port cover still leaves a small gap in the back of the tank. Smaller crickets and reptiles are able to escape. I keep the cord port covers closed and silicone the gap behind the sliding cover to eliminate any escape routes.

3. I have had some corrosion of the wire mesh screen tops, mostly in my humid setups. The screen looks easy enough to replace if and when they wear out.

4. Smaller tank sizes don't have adequate room to properly light an enclosure for reptiles/plants needing UVB/basking lamp/full spectrum lighting. (new dual light hood options from Exo-Terra are on the market which may help solve this problem for small tanks, but not the nano tanks. Plus they seem very pricey yet Exo Terra Dual Top 24-Inch Canopy for Exo Terra Terrariums PT2610 and PT2612).

Other:

1. The newest Exo-Terra tank design utilizes a new fastening design for the screen tops, so far i have not had a problem with the new design and it seems to be a positive improvement. The old screen tops were held in place with plastic push tabs which would fatigue and break if seeing even limited use.

2. The frame is all plastic and doesn't seem particularly strong. I keep waiting for it to snap or crack when i'm cleaning or moving them, but they haven't yet...

Seio P530 Prop Pump with Magnet Mount - 530 GPH

Seio P530 Prop Pump with Magnet Mount - 530 GPHWorks great. Only complaint is that it moves when you try to clean its' exterior while in the tank. I would buy it again.

I've had two of these pumps running in my 50gal. marine aquarium for three years without fail. Will buy them again when needed.

Exotic Environments Medieval Castle With Metallic Blue Tops

Exotic Environments Medieval Castle With Metallic Blue TopsOK, not good.

My daughter wanted a castle for her fish bowl. She picked this one out by the appearance. I approved it based on the dimensions given (would fit her fish bowl) and the castle window appeared large enough for her fish to swim through.

The castle's size is as advertised but there is no castle door/window (it's not open as pictured). The black hole in the right side, acts as the swim-hole, but is only sized for a teeny tiny fish. Her Beta will never get thru it, so...while we'll still use it, but it was a disappointment.

Beware, this castle seems quite popular as MANY sellers had it advertised.

U.P. Aqua Triangle Fish Net

U.P. Aqua Triangle Fish NetThis net is a bit on the smallish size... suitable for tetras and barbs, fish an inch or maybe two. I expected something a bit larger. On the positive side, it looks well made, the telesoping feature was very useful in my 70 gallon tank, and the triangular shape is good for snagging fish that hide in corners. For the price paid (about $10) I'm not dissapointed, but I wouldn't spend any more on this product.

Round Pet Bed with Black Quilted Top

Snoozer Quiltie Round Pet Bed, Large, LeopardWe purchased one of these beds a while back for our dog and recently added another dog to the family. We bought a "different" bed at a local pet store so both could be comfortable. It was intersting to watch the dogs attempt to get to the O'Donnell Snoozer first. One would actually try to lure the other off the bed with a toy so she could take her place. So in the name of tranquility we purchased another Snoozer and all is well now that each dog has their own O'Donnell Quiltie. Thanks O'Donnell.

I got this for the family room for my French Bulldog and one for our big dog I also got my French Bulldog the rectangle one for his kennel. The one in his kennel is already falling apart after not even 2 months. This one is holding a up a little better. I am over all not happy with the Snoozer beds. To me it was another waste of money and sends me back to searching for a good dog bed that will hold up to daily use in the kennel.I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for something to hold up to daily use.

UPDATE--So after I wrote this review I went and took a better look at the bed and the top quilted part on this bed has also come un-stitched as well. These beds are horrible and I will NEVER buy another Snoozer product again after having 3 beds all come apart after less than 2 months. My dogs are not hard on the beds they do not chew them or anything all they do is lay on them and they couldn't hold up to that. DO NOT BUY WOULD HAVE RATED IT ZERO STARS BUT I HAVE TO GIVE IT ONE
