This may be a 5 star to some people but I put a couple chemicals in my water so I dont know which chemical is working the best but I have a very clean tank and I am sure it has something to do with it.I will order another one this week and I am going to use it on my smaller 55 gallon tank by itself just to see if it works on its own without any other chemical.

My cat (and I) absolutely love this toy! The nest is adorable, well-made, and keeps my kitty entertained. This cat toy is more suited for a kitten or a very small cat. The toys are tiny. I'm not sure I see teh point of the "nest." My cats weren't interested in that part at all. They mostly liked the little green worm, but, again, it's very tiny (think pinky sized) and, well, my cats are not. I wouldn't buy this particular toy again.

The product came in the estimated range and was what we wanted. It produces just enough bubbles and was pretty easy to install.

I like the look of the LED lights, and the bubble wall, but I had a fish die already from this, as it got caught between the wand and the glass back of the tank. (My wand is suction cup'ed to the back wall.) The other fish seem to not have issue with it, so maybe it was the stupid fish of the group, maybe it was just hiding, i dunno.

I bought this and was thrilled. the lights looked wonderful woven around my plants and ornaments. I never could get even bubble flow. there was always too many at the hook up and not enough at the end. but I was willing to overlook that because the lights alone were great. jump to less than a month after installation, I plug it in, and the lights flicker and die. I checked the connections and all is well. I finally get frustrated and remove the whole thing to find every light burnt out with reddish, what I assume to be rust, seeping out from them. I am much less than thrilled with this product now.

Over the past 40 years of keeping fish I've learned that for myself one of the greatest joys is of aquascaping. For years I had fish tanks that looked like well, fish tanks. Those dreadful backgrounds of other fish tanks, artificial plants and so on.

But like any hobby as long as the interest is there things tend to evolve and change. That said I've found one of the most inexpensive and creative way to make subtle to dramatic changes to most any tank is by using up lighting as the old saying goes "lighting is everything"

When Marineland came out with their LED wands I had them in many tanks in different numbers and colors, mostly the Lunar blue and white. The wands were just ok as they have a tendency to release and float to the top and the LED bulbs are quite dim. Enter the ViaAqua wands these were much better. They're weighted and have stronger suction cups so they stay put, the LED bulbs are brighter but the air tube is rather weak and thin and like the Marineland they clog easy.

When I came across these bendable LED air wands by Aqueon I could just imagine the possibilities, circles, half circles, quarter moon. Building multi layered air columns and so on. My hunch was right and these wands are sensational.

The build quality is the best yet so far the main tube is stronger so you can feel free to bend these into virtually any shape you like. The outflow is generous and creates a wall of bubbles in an even beautiful flow.

The main housing is a pliable rubber and each LED is incredibly bright, in fact a little too bright. It's easy too adjust this by adding a lamp dimmer if you want a nice range of adjustment to the brightness. I would say this applies really only to the white as the Lunar blue has a much more softer hue and is closer to a true Lunar blue as you would find with over head LED lighting systems that offer this feature.

Bending these around your tank decor adds tons of visual appeal as well as great extra oxygen via the increased aeration one of the best things you can do for your fish.

I'm running a bunch of these in different sized tanks from 55's to 125 and up and find them to be a wonderful addition to every single one of them. I think any hobbyist will love these.

The plant looks good in the aquarium. I was going for a different look and this plant provided the change of place I wanted. The fish appear to like the broad leaves to hide in. Like with any silk plant one has to keep algae growth under control or else you risk permanent discoloration of the silk leaves.

Zoo Med Hermit Crab Heater 4 Watts

I have a small plastic tank around 3 gallons and it keeps it about 3 degrees warmer than the house. The directions tell you if you have a plastic tank to stick it on the side as opposed to underneath. My reccomendation if you are going to put it on the side is to position it more toward the bottom of the tank. I stuck mine towards the top and I think a lot of the heat escapes. Overall its a good investment especially if you live in the north east.

This heater attaches under the tank and keeps the area of the tank warm so that your Crabs don't get to cold. You can feel the heat come up through the sand and uses very little electricity.

I've had this for a long while and the heat doesn't travel through sand as well as I hoped, so if you put in on the bottom you'll see you crabs digging to get to the warmth. I have mine on the side for those that like to dig and those that like to stay above and enjoy the rest of the crabitat.

Bought this for son's hermit crab habitat, figuring that this would keep them warm enough. It barely even warms the surface it is attached to. Also, the manufacturer warns against removing the heater once it is stuck on a surface since removing it can cause damage to the heating elements. I ended up ordering a heating unit the next size up and now the forecast in the container is a balmy 76 degrees.

I've had my AL for 2 years now. It is flawless. It offers a wonderful timer with battery backup(to keep track of time for 30min, not for backup lighting), great reflectors, and easily replacable moonlight LEDs

The good parts: Well ventilated for ballasts/bulbs. Reflectors are really good, although not seperate. I am able to GROW acropora's and montiporas underneath it (I do use ATI bulbs though). The moonlights cover the entire tank, not just one portion and are easy to replace.

The innards are also VERY easy to replace should something go wrong. My first fan broke, I found a comparable power computer fan and plugged it right in, no wiring skills needed.

AquaticLife customer support is UNSURPASSED. I had one issue with LEDs once, they mailed me a full set, no questions asked.

They are seriously fast to respond, and the best company I've ever dealt with.

The bad parts: While the fixture is well ventilated, I dont think its enough for the LEDs. Mine started blinking within a couple months and then burnt out. I replaced them under warranty and it happened again fairly quickly. I can live without moonlights, but its sad as I like the look.

The breakdown: This fixture is an AMAZING compromise between price and power. It has the ability to support most coral, and easy to fix in a pinch. I would HIGHLY recommend this fixture if you dont mind loss of moonlights.

This light is great! It has a built in time so you don't have to worry about turning on the light yourself every morning or buying timers. You can use the default times are set your own. It has white light to simulate daytime, blue actinic lights for your corals, and blue led's that come on at night to simulate the moon. The blue led's provide a lot of shimmer. The 10,000K white light is plenty bright for my 65 gallon FOWLR tank. I plan to get coral in the future after my water has stabilized a little more. For the price, this light is awesome.

Adult fish should never be kept in an "aquarium" this small and it should not be marketed for them. Goldfish need a MINIMUM of 5 gallons each, and bettas as well. This could be useful as a nursery for fry if the filter doesn't suck them up.

I had read other reviews about this product that complained about paying for "water weight" and it not being enough to do the 1 pound per 1 gallon the way other gravel does. I will say you are not getting the same amount as you would if you bought dry gravel. But not having to go through the rinse process is very nice. The water is very cloudy for the first few hours and is still somewhat cloudy about 16 hours later. However, 40 pounds did cover the floor of my 36 gallon bow front tank very nicely. And if you are torn between gravel and sand, this is a nice size. I am not sure about its claims about not needing to cycle the water, but everything else seems good.

This box did just what it said. I've used it to acclimate my fish. It is very easy to set up. The water flow rate is very simple to adjust and works well. The only negative, and I knew this from the description, was that I could not hang it on the back of the aquarium. My stand is against the wall and there is not enough space behind the aquarium to do this. Also, I have a Marineland cover which hinges on the back. That and the glass canopy under the cover would not allow it to hang on the back either. This was easily remedied. As it was not meant as a permanent fixture, I hung it on the front of the aquarium and allowed the canopy and cover to rest on it in front. It wasn't opened very wide. The cover was still effective in stopping most evaporation and allowed the in-cover light to do its job. The result: the fish were happily acclimated.

I ordered these based on the description, expecting them to have blue color swirled around the clear. Instead, most of them look like a "cat's eye" marble, clear with a swirled blue "eye" in the very center. There is not nearly enough color in them to stand out from clear ones in the cylinder I am putting them in.

In addition, the package was small, not nearly worth the $3.99 I paid for them!!! I could definitely have found more colorful and more inexpensive ones at area craft stores. And I am still wondering why I paid $5.99!!!! for shipping!!! That was definitely a bad mistake on my part!!!! Next time I will pay more attention to the amount indicated in the shipping area on the order verification.

We purchased one of these beds a while back for our dog and recently added another dog to the family. We bought a "different" bed at a local pet store so both could be comfortable. It was intersting to watch the dogs attempt to get to the O'Donnell Snoozer first. One would actually try to lure the other off the bed with a toy so she could take her place. So in the name of tranquility we purchased another Snoozer and all is well now that each dog has their own O'Donnell Quiltie. Thanks O'Donnell.

I got this for the family room for my French Bulldog and one for our big dog I also got my French Bulldog the rectangle one for his kennel. The one in his kennel is already falling apart after not even 2 months. This one is holding a up a little better. I am over all not happy with the Snoozer beds. To me it was another waste of money and sends me back to searching for a good dog bed that will hold up to daily use in the kennel.I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for something to hold up to daily use.

UPDATE--So after I wrote this review I went and took a better look at the bed and the top quilted part on this bed has also come un-stitched as well. These beds are horrible and I will NEVER buy another Snoozer product again after having 3 beds all come apart after less than 2 months. My dogs are not hard on the beds they do not chew them or anything all they do is lay on them and they couldn't hold up to that. DO NOT BUY WOULD HAVE RATED IT ZERO STARS BUT I HAVE TO GIVE IT ONE
