This is a very powerful and safe product...BUT be prepared for the skimmer to NOT work for over a week. This stuff takes a long time to break down to say the least. Tons of bubbles and over skimm first. The product does say no skimming but had no idea how long that period will be. On the other hand had an emergency with a purple tang and what looked like larger white ulcers out of the blue in over 9 years of perfect health and it was gone in a day with this. So worth having availible.

Smokehouse Resealable Bag

This was the 2nd time that I ordered the Smokehouse USA Chicken Stix. The 1st order had USA printed right on the bag, this one had a USA sticker over the China sticker. In addition, the product looked entirely different. Obviously I am concerned. I pay more to ensure I am not feeding my "fur kids" products from China. I was very excited to find 100% Natural Dog Treats at a nearby pet store.

I bought the Retriever pork skin ~ label and sticker reads "Made in USA"

GREAT!!!

Second, I purchased the Beef Hooves ~(There is not a label or sticker clarifying where they are from.)

Third, I purchased the Chix Mix ~ The label does indeed read in small print on the back of the package, right hand corner, "PRODUCT OF CHINA",

The sticker label on the front reads, "Product regularly tested to insure quality. Lab tested in the USA."

(So at that point, I figured it is made in China and tested in the USA)

Does that mean they test every bag? I doubt it.

I just got off the phone with the Smokehouse customer service department.

Their representative did go over each of the three products I bought.

The Beef Hooves and The Retriever Pork Skin are from the USA.

The Chix Mix is from China. She clearly stated this.

It looks like a great product,

but I am very hesitant to feed them to my dog.

I Googled all the information about the the dog deaths linked to Chicken Jerky Treats from China.

This brand was NOT on the list, but I read enough to be concerned about where they come from.

I will be exchanging the Chix Mix for the Beef Hooves tomorrow.

Underwater Galleries AUG5602 Sea Cave, Large

I ordered the large and the medium caves for my new 30 gal freshwater aquarium. They are nice and light compared to real rock and look great in the tank.

When I first put them in they released a ton of very small bubbles for several minutes which made me freak out a little bit.

The fish love them and spend time going in and out. I even put some live plants in a few of the holes and they look great! Very happy with these caves and will probably get more in the future.

I really like how this cave has three holes in it, it's fun to watch the fish swim in one and out another. It looks very realistic and is a quality made product. It is quite large I have it in a 10 gallon and it takes up almost half the tank. I put a picture in customer pictures.

We already have one of these poo bag holders and just wanted a 2nd to keep on my hands-free running leash. We bought the first one over 2 years ago and it's still almost as good as new. It's been through a lot. We leave it on the leash so we always have a bag on hand. It's been through the rain, dropped and pulled through the mud and snow and still works. The only thing that hasn't done well is the little metal clip but since it has a velcro clip we don't care that the metal one broke. The zipper is still good as new. So, I can only hope the one I just received yesterday holds up as good as the old one!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the one pictured when I ordered was supposed to have blue paw prints and the one that came in the mail has pink paw prints. It wasn't worth the hassle for me to return it for the correct color.

t really does work! I had a cloudy 35 gallon tank set up for over two weeks... after I put the Eco-Bio block (large size) into the tank, it cleared up with-in a couple of days.... that was four weeks ago, now I see a little cloudyness again... I probably did the dirty deed of feeding too much at a time1 So I will change out five gallons of water....

First, this kit is very tiny. Your beloved animal will not fit in that cave unless it is a dwaft puffer.

Second, the edges are sharp. It is made with very cheap plastic and they did not cut sharp edges at all, well it's just designed this cheap way.

Third, the color of this replica is ridiculous. Do not believe the picture, they professionally painted that model or it's real rock and the kit you will get is actually 1 color, Cheap nasty green.

Fourth, the picture makes you believe that it is similar to a normal aquarium rock, No. You get exactly what's on the picture from the front view. Then it is cut in half so you attach the entire kit to the wall. So I don't know what they meant by "Cave kit" it 1" or less deep inside.

Fifth, the attachable cliff pieces are a joke. They do not even fit in, they'd 100% fall off with your hamster's or fish's nose breeze.

To sum it up, this was the worst $20 spent in my entire online purchase. Also the kit says made in USA, manufactured in Thailand(?), 1999. Get it?

Many Bettas don't survive these rough conditions that nature provides in their home territory. If you buy small cups and throw a fish in themyou are just condemning them to solitary confinement in a prison cell. My Betta is in a 10 gallon tank and you wouldn't believe the fun he has exercising and playing in all that space. If you careyou would never subject this beautiful creature to cups of water if you saw them in gallons of HEATED (they are tropical fish) water!!!!!! note before my review: Yea ok, so everyone QQing over this needs to just think about it from a breeders standpoint...I jar my bettas in quart mason jars. The males anyways. I do not see how this is any different. The ONLY downside and I mean ONLY, is that the divider is not a solid color, preventing the males from seeing each other. Is this meant for keeping a betta forever and ever as a HOME? No...But as a breeding standpoint, it is fine. If you are stupid enough to think a breeder would have a gallon-per-male, you are wrong. It is more cost and space efficient for mason jars, beanie baby boxes, or these small acrylic breeders.

So.........if you dont like it because it is "cruel", dont write a review. Reviews are only helpful if you point out flaws in construction, pricing, etc. Your opinion means jack from a consumer standpoint.

I rate this product a 4, and that is because the divider is NOT a solid color. Bi-weekly water changes are suggested and this setup is NOT suggested for long-term use.

I got this castle for my one gallon Betta fish tank, I chose the smallest size and when I put it in the water it took up a lot of room and freaked out my fish. But it will defiantly look good in a bigger tank and is well made.

So ok I've gone off the deep end. But this is one in a whole series of aquarium decorations I've purchased, and this one , I find, is the bestthe most sturdily constructed, artfully decorated and architecturally challenging and comforting to the betta. It fits into the awkward hole in the fluval tank. Recommend highly for 6 gallon tanks and bored fish. I will be searching the listings for more decorations of this quality for the other betta's tank.

Quick Disconnect Double Valve for Magnum 350 Canister Filter

I got this part to use with my Vortex diatom filter to facilitate recharging it. Adding this quick-connect shut-off valve makes that chore a bit easier, but no matter how you try to clean out used diatom residue and add fresh material, its no picnic. Quality of the valves is good and the only thing that is downside is that separating the quick-connect valves can be a little difficult. Suggest lubricating them with vaseline to make this easier.

This valve assembly is a great concept, but will leak over time (6-8 months) if care and attention is not given to the o-rings. I've found that libricating/conditioning the rings with silicone lubricant will extend their life to over a year. Overall, a good product.

Kordon/Oasis (Novalek) AKD39446 Ich Attack for Aquarium, 16-Ounce

Ich Attack works, but it works slowly. If you don't catch the ich early on and it gets a good hold on the fish, you need a stronger, chemical treatment for your fish, not an herbal one. Being herbal, Ich Attack doesn't have many of the disadvantages of the harsher chemical treatments. I am currently using this on a 12 gallon freshwater tank populated with 7 black neon tetras, 5 pygmy corys, and 3 dwarf gouramis. I lost 6 of the tetras, but I consider that more my fault than the failure of the Ich Attack I didn't catch the ich until it was too far along on the tetras. I'm not even sure if a chemical treatment would have saved the tetras as badly as they were infected. It took a week of dosing the tank with Ich Attack before I saw the last of the ich on the remaining fish, but the bottle warns that it may take as long as 5 weeks if the ich is particularly resistant. As recommended on the bottle, I am continuing the treatment for 5 days after all ich is gone. In summary, it works and I like it, but I have learned to inspect my fish carefully each day to catch any infections early.

Am on my 3 rd bottle in a 75g tank....I bought this because of my red cherry shrimp and the oto cats....no harmful effects at all...lose a doz neons and flame tetras right off but after dbbl doseing every thing looks good ..Am putting 3rd bottle in to be on safe side...no harm to heavily planted tank...it just destroyed the ich...good stuff..patience needed

I used this herbal medication to treat marine ich in my reef tank about a month ago. My clownfish stopped "flashing" against rocks. I assumed it worked but brain coral (Trachyphyllia geoffroyi) died and slowly turned to white. I lost $44.99 (the price of the brain coral).

Recently I have a marine ich crisis, maybe after the introduction of tomini tang. I used the herbal medication with higher dose allowed by the instructions (6 teaspoonful, instead of 4, for 40 gallon tank) for about a week. Fairy wrasse was full of white ich, also scissortail goby. Now other tank mates were effected.

I decided to stop this herbal treatment after:

(1) I did not see any improvement with the fish

(2) Plate coral (Cycloseris hexagonalis) stopped responding with its favorite food

(3) Gorgonian coral (Eunicea sp) stopped extending its tentacles.

However, birdnest coral, acropora, maxima clam, Duncan coral (Duncanopsammia axifuga) were okay.

I want to try copper treatment on separate tank, or hypo salinity treatment. I think herbal treatment cannot stop marine ich crisis.

Impeller Shaft Assembly without Magnet for Magnum 350 Canister Filter

Impeller works wonderfully. I bought a new one because mine busted (obviously) and I figured it would work but I had no idea that the impeller was making my filter so noisy in the first place. Now it's whisper quiet, so I say if you can hear anything besides the water entering the canister and the bubbles from the air pump, you probably need a new impeller.

Very difficult to snap magnet onto impeller shaft as directed in instructions. I was actually unable to snap the two pieces in place. Otherwise great product but hard to put together properly.

Seachem The Bag - 180 Micron - 5 in. x 9 1/2 in.

I use this bag with Purigen. Superfine granules never come out of this bag. My only suggestions is the locking closure could be better designed.

This bag would be a great bag if it had a better way to closing it. Currently you have to use pull ties to close.
